    Well, it did in 2008 and 2009, at least. Before that, he was walking close to five guys per nine innings regardless of the month.


    (ETA: I don't expect that he's completely lost command, though... just pointing out that it's not like he's been this amazing pitcher for six years running or anything.)

    So at this point I'm in favor of a Hermida/Lowell platoon at DH.

    So far I'm loving the Hermida trade- what a beautiful swing and great results so far. Devil, I agree but the emphasis should be on Hermida.
