Cancellations? Is it possible that now that money is due, some people (PSLs) are defaulting on their commitment and those seats are now available? Hard to tell but that's one scenario.
When I was there on Saturday, there were elevators operating that could take you all the way up to the upper deck. I pushed the upper deck button by accident and it stayed lit, so I guess I could've went up there.
they are not going to turn the escalators on for the tours.only for purchased tickets events.escalators use electricity.electricity cost money. my account has been noted since day 1 i wanted to upgrade.and he said with the seniority i would be first to relocate after payments where due.
Okay, so it IS by seniority if your account is noted. My account was noted also, about 2-3 months ago. I'm going to call today and make sure the notation is still there and that I'm on the Waitlist. With your seniority, you should get a pretty good upgrade. Mine is 1986.
I still call weekly and we share results. Hey if someone is buying a psl or trying to add an UD seat or move to better UD seat I check and post what I find. Thing that makes me nervous is they still can't sell out the good seats in the 6K and 7.5k psls. The on the aisle row 6 in 144 by 142 still sitting there in April 2010 is amazing. That seat is right by lower entrance, very little asile traffic given rows 1-5 in 144 and 142 are narrow rows and it is the sunny visitors side seat. If you try to move up from there you are jammed by the lower entrance and since section angles back towards back of endzone the further you go up the further you go back. Front row, on aisle rows 1-7 and then rows 17-25 on aisle (after lower entrance obstruction) should have been first to go in those eight TC, LGL sections which have a few thousand seats. If what I think is a top 200 seat in a section of a few thousand sitting empty after two years of selling seats who knows how much crap they have to peddle. Hojo bought seats there and they had no seat supposedly like that in 144 back in late January. The Jets hold good seats back and try to push the worse seats first and then slowly go to the back store room and pull good seats out of their ass every so often. Plus sitting empty shows even a scalper can't make money off a row six aisle seat.
Until every last seat is sold I don't need other threads. Actually next week I am praying 17a, 227 and myself pick seats in between the 40's upper deck. I for one think relatively new season ticket holders who have never sat in a high UD EZ seat might be tempted to move down this weekend. I am worried that he views from UD sideline is pretty good and everyone stays put and no seats open up for us.
the reason the mezz and lower levels STH cant view their seats the same time as upper sth's is b/c uppers who are not happy with their seats will immediately be shown the available seats down below. upon seeing the view much much better from say a lower level 16th row comapred to row 10 of the upper sth's will crumble. especially people of high seniority who have sat in the lower bowl their whole lives and just had to walk 7 flights of stairs to the uppers. this will open sideline low row for me

That is a lie!!!! My obsession started last year when I tried to trade up the seats I already. I bought and paid for a pair in section 228 and they let me buy a pair row one LL on the 40. I could not resist the row one LL so I bought them even though Jets would not let me swap my existing tickets and instantly I had 20 tickets to sell in mezz and found out no one wants to buy them. What a pain and I eventualy sold them for 10% under face as a package. However, I could not make all the games in my new good seats and people were begging me for those seats when I could not go. Mr. 227 sat not far from me in 228 in old stadium and he has plenty a tale of getting stuck with tickets no one wants. I am intent on not repeating getting stuck with lousy jet tickets again where I am begging people to buy them even at a loss. I want very good tickets. row 21-26 corner ud ez seats in the middle I would have to hire Don Drapper to market those dogs if I can't make it.

Ok, I said it seems, not necessarily accusing you but it does seem that way, you only appear to be interested in tickets and pricing. But I'll take your word for it. As a season ticket holder I know full well how hard it can be to even give them away at times, which is why I'm not at all surprised that they can't sell PSLs. I'd have been shocked if they could sell them out.

Obviusly no one really knows but why would the Jets make the rule that you have to be 18 or older to go on a tour of the stadium???? Just boggles my mind something that sounds so easy that have a found a way to screw up. Wouldve been better if they just had the tour Friday, Saturday & Sunday and the stadium would be open to 8-6 or something like that and you get to walk around and view it your pleasure on your own time, and not be subjected to a certain time.
Time share tours also don't allow kids, want adults there with no distractions to hear salespitch and sign on dotted line.
Yes, it would have, but this isn't at all about "meeting your seat," it's about upselling. For the umpteenth time, the NY Jets don't give two shits about the STHers. They could care less about you being able to come and leisurely see where your seat is, unless, of course, you're "escorted" by one of the "stadium relocation representatives" who, in actuality, is a hard-core former used car salesman and who just happens to point out what a shitty view you have from your Uppers and how much nicer it would be from the lower levels. Furthermore, denying access to anyone under 18 eliminates distractions and/or excuses for the decisionmaker and allows a sales rep to relentlessly pound on his PSL sales pitch, uninterupted and unimpeded by little Jason, who has to conveniently make pee-pee. Children are a distraction for the parents and a sales nuisance in their eyes. And if they had an "open house" and not their cockamamie "reserve a spot in our preview" bullshit, then the place would be flooded with people at peak times and the sales reps would not be able to handle it and maximize their PSL sales pushes. By filtering the prospects and funnelling them into "time slots" like sheep to the slaughter, they can concentrate on dividing and conquering, segregating the ones who are softening and bringing them aside for a "special" look at some "really good deals" that they just happen to have all for you and you alone. No, people have to stop assuming any of this is coming about as a matter of good will on the part of the Jets. People still want to believe the Jets really care about their customers, that they want their customers to be happy, that perhaps they're willing to "help" them and that they're truly concerned about what you think of the organization and the new stadium seating fiasco. I have long since given up on the Jets doing anything with the cusomer/fanlong-time season ticketholder in mind. Instead, it's all about greed, price gouging and using fan loyalty to help pay for this new monstrosity in full in 5 years.
