Good move by the fins! It makes the 5th rounder for Holmes sound even better.

I wonder what the dolfin fans are saying about character guys now! A few days ago they were acting like we sold our soul. Now they sould be tripping over themselves trying not to sound like hypocrits!

Only opinion, but I think this will work out fine for the Dolphins. I'm not saying he'll be an angel off the field, I just think he'll do better in Miami. At least enough to outweigh his stupidity.

In regards to the Holmes trade...the reward outweighs the risk...because the Jets can cut bait if he has behavior issues...it's the exact opposite for the Dolphins....because Parcells will be signing Marshall to a long term contract. Both players are basically on their last strike before getting slapped with a year long suspension.

I'd be more worried about the Holmes deal if Tanny offered a long-term contract right away.

Yeah, which is why it does not suck for the Jets.

Trade makes complete sense for both teams. Dolphins needed a number 1 receiver and Denver needed to get rid of him. Everybody thought Denver would suck last season when they traded Cutler, and see how that turned out. Seeing BM in Miami should be as interesting as seeing Holmes here. Gonna be a fun season this year.

Do you watch football? They beat the Jets with the Wild Cat in Miami, but barely at the last second of the game. And the 2nd game was Ted Ginn kick returns killing the Jets while the Wild Cat was SHUT DOWN. Jets could have had both games with ease. Come on man!

Actually our D completely shut down Miami's O in the 2nd game. The first game they killed our D but the 2nd game Miami scored 3 non offensive TDs and the lone dolphin offensive TD came about on a drive where they fumbled and we recovered but they gave it back to Miami.

We're not going to get raped again by the wildcat as we showed in the 2nd matchup.

We're also hopefully not going to allow 3 TD's with the defense not on the field like we did in the 2nd matchup.

Marshall is scary but we just can't kick ourselves like we did vs miami last season.

hopefully Marshall brings a comfy beach towel and some sunscreen when the Phins play the Jets.....he'll be needing them for his extended stay on Revis Island.

Coach Mike Nolan, Karlos Dansby and Brandon Marshall is one hell of an off-season

Dan Williams, Earl Thomas, or Jason Morgan at no.12 in the draft and I'm straight.....:breakdance:

Hopefully we could trade down and still get on of those guys.

I'm not too worried. I expect him to be in prison before too long. The guy is a first class punk. A few off the field issues are one thing, but this guy is a total asshole. Does anyone really expect him to suddenly change??? I learned a long time ago ... people are who they are.
Just a small taste of what the Fish have to look forward to ...

"But here's the kicker. This is Marshall's third arrest in under a year. I'm not even sure Pacman managed to do that. Marshall's other two arrests include false imprisonment for not letting a woman leave his house and a DUI.

If you want to get into Marshall's even more ridiculous offseason shenanigans, he also claimed that he slipped on a McDonald's wrapper at a mall in March and stuck his hand through a TV. He then switched his story to say he was wrestling with his family or something dumb like that. Whatever, however he hurt his arm, he had to get surgery for it.

Marshall also has the necessary college arrest on his record. While at the University of Central Florida, Marshall was arrested in Orlando on charges of assault on a law enforcement officer.

And last, but certainly not least, it's long been believed that slain Broncos player Darrent Williams was killed because Marshall pissed off a group of gangbangers by spraying them with champagne when he was out one night with Williams and Javon Walker."

With Holmes and now Marshall added to the mix it must suck to be a CB not called Revis in the AFC East this next season.
