Every year there is always that big mofo who has all the potential in the world. That guy who can do backflips at 300 lbs, or jump out of a pool. And every year.. I fall in love.. Callahan Bright, 6'3'' 343, NT http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/andy_staples/02/24/bright/index.html This man was a freak coming out of HS. Rated as the 2nd best DT, and 14th overall. 37 spots above Suh. I can't remember if players like "Walter Thomas" actually wanted to play in the NFL. Watching that video, this kid looks like he believes in himself, and maybe a team like the Jets do too. 7th round, or undrafted type.. Lets make it happen.
Awesome, this guy was probably one of the trash men in my town at school. I think that's enough to pick him
That's a great story, and we're absolutely in a position in which we could take on a project. I wonder if he'll get drafted based solely on potential...
I agree... 340 lbs NT don't come along every day... don't know if the Jets will give him a shot but someone for sure will be interested...
Callahan Bright DT I'm good friends with this guy. He was in High school when I was there. He lived in my neighborhood and was always big. Freshman year in HS he use to squat like 500 lbs. He lost his scholarship to Florida St. when he put a guy in the cooma. I was there that night. A bunch of guys came out of there cars to attack us and Callahan knocked some out and one of them literally peed on himself (that was the guy in the cooma). But this guy throughout HS was the talk of town. I still talk to his mom once in a while. His nickname is REX. That's what we call him since he was 11. Was ranked as the #2 DT 2006 rivals. He is making a comeback and we should pick him up. He had off the field problems but he picked his life up. We need to get him on this team some how. Imagine the amount of inside information and sources I can get a whole of about this team if the Jets do pick him up. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/andy_staples/02/24/bright/index.html
My old room mate went to school with Mike DeVito on the Cape (no hornet). I always asked if he could get me some sweet inside info, I was pretty much kidding not expecting him to get any. Cool story though just to know someone who made it in pro sports. I also had another room mate who is friends with Cory Schneider, currently on the Manitoba Moose (Canucks Affiliate). He went to a game one with a poster that read "I went to jail with Cory Schneider", I thought that was pretty funny. O yea, no hornet.
We don't need any of you guys..... I have access to all the information on BOTH newyorkjets.com AND profootballtalk.com (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say "no hornet" due to newness)
