I don't think anybody didn't think he was using the Jets but if Miami doesn't give him a better deal than the Jets will then he will come here anyway, kicking, screaming and whining all the way.

I swallowed my pride and wanted us to get an elite pass rusher, but I can't say I'm all that disappointed by this news.
If he wants to finish his career in 3rd place in the AFCE instead of contending for a championship, so be it. With the Holmes trade we now have the luxury of drafting a pass-rusher anyway.

Much easier. I always love beating them, because Taylor had a way of crying like a bitch afterward that made it all the more worth it. I'd rather draft a pass rusher and kick the hell out of his team twice this year - and win a Lombardi - because then he'll know that if he had just bitten down on that pride he could have had a ring instead of lost in mediocrity wearing faggot colors.
You do realize that the only reason he met with the Jets was so he could shop the offer, right? It probably is irrational, though. Mostly because even if he does sign with the jets and gets 9-10 sacks, I'm still going to be hoping that he tears his ACL before every play.
