    Ellsbury is out today, x-rays didn't find a break though which is good.

    8 ab's obviously tells you almost nothing about a player, but Hermida looked pretty good swinging the bat in KC. Ortiz only looks more cooked every day, so I wonder if/when Lowell and Hermida start DHing the majority of the time.

    I've been wanting Lowell to take over DH duties all winter, Ortiz got hot last year near the end, but I was of the opinion he was done.

    The fact that Theo appereantly hates Mike, annoys me. Play the guys who give us the best chance to win. Ortiz is not that man, as much as I love the guy.

    Yeah, Lester started off slow in 2008 before hitting his stride and also had a pretty shitty start last year too. Combine that with this being the Twins first game in their new stadium and the odds for this game were pretty bad going in.
