In a bar down here in Charleston my buddy walked in on Roethlisberger blowing lines in the mens room. This guy is such a disgrace
I don't have any pics but it is the truth, Ben is part owner of a bar down here and thinks he is hot shit whenever he is around town. He talks down to bartenders, door guys, etc. like he is a God or something. This guy needs an attitude adjustment
considering i always hated him since he became a steeler, i'm glad he's developing a reputation as a fuckin douchebag
Which bar? A guy on my summer flag football team saw him at Purple Tree and he said Big Ben was a total dick to everyone that tried to talk to him.
Dear women of the world. when a professional athlete or any other type of well recognized man with money is offering for you to come to the v.i.p section of a bar in which no other men are allowed they are looking for something. as shocking as this may seem they are not looking for friendship or to get to know you better. they want what every man wants and that is sex. if you are too stupid to understand this before you agree to go into said v.i.p section it is probably best that you stop frequenting night clubs because you will end raped multiple times by not only celebrities but other random creeps that like to prey on the weak and stupid. your friend, UKK.
That attitude reminds me of the toll booth workers who did nothing on the G train line when a student was raped on the subway platform. It was her fault for traveling at night, I guess. She screamed and screamed for help, they witnessed the assault, and called the cops 10 MINUTES LATER. She sued the MTA and lost. Toll booth workers are at serious risk to their lives everyday (remember the guy who was torched? ugh); but they couldn't do something, anything? PA a warning? PA the cops have been called (which they didn't)? PA to cease and desist? Common human decency. I get what you're saying, but you're also saying two things at once, and the underlying fact is that it's as insulting as it is pervasive. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Who would be the MTA workers in the Roethlisberger case? The urinals? From what I understand, there were no other people in the bathroom watching what was going on, hence most of the trouble involved in actually charing Rapelisberger. No woman, or person for that matter, should ever be raped or sexually assaulted but it's like walking into a minefield. If you choose to surround yourself with guys who are basically trying to buy sex from you, let them spend their cash on you, and then turn them down, they are going to get angry and start taking liberties because they're fucking assholes who try to buy sexual favors from women. If you don't want to be eaten, don't walk into a lion's den. There is no excuse for what Roethlisberger did(allegedly[probably]) but it's not like he grabbed her off of her porch.
are you suggesting that i would let someone be raped if i saw it happening because i can't find it in my heart to feel bad for some underage girl who made a stupid decision in a bar? currently being in college i see girls make that type of decision all the time. its amazing what the promise of a few free drinks will make a 20 year old girl do. the fact is that it takes two people for whatever happened in that bathroom to happen. big ben is most likely a gigantic douche but that doesn't change the fact that it took some stupid underage girl in a bar to allow him to act on his douchey impulses. is the entire situation her fault? no not at all but if she had taken a second to think about what she was doing before heading into the back of that bar maybe she never would have been in the position for anything to happen at all.
no we are putting some type of blame on a women for her actions and decisions. and until i see some type of evidence that she was actually raped and not just making it up i don't see her as much of a victim. for all we know ben offered her something, be it money or something else, for a quickie in the bathroom. again ben is a douche in the situation but it still takes two to tango.
Steelers' Roethlisberger won't face any charges NFL.com Wire Reports Authorities in Georgia won't charge Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger after a 20-year-old college student said he sexually assaulted her. District Attorney Fred Bright made the announcement Monday. The student had told police that Roethlisberger sexually assaulted her last month at a nightclub in the central Georgia college town of Milledgeville. Bright says questions still persist about what happened between Roethlisberger and the student inside a bathroom at the club. However, he says the accuser and her family told authorities they did not want to press charges. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has mentioned several times that he will be meeting with Roethlisberger regardless of whether or not charges were filed, and league sources have told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora the meeting is likely to take place later this week. Roethlisberger could still face discipline from the league or the Steelers. Roethlisberger, who is 28, owns a home about 30 miles north of Milledgeville on Lake Oconee. He also is being sued by a woman who claims he raped her in 2008 at a hotel and casino in Lake Tahoe, an allegation he strongly denies. Roethlisberger didn't report to Pittsburgh's offseason workouts last month. Most of the team is expected to be on hand Monday, when on-field practice starts for the Steelers. Roethlisberger is expected to join his teammates in Pittsburgh for offseason workouts in the near future, reports Steve Wyche. http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d817796d1&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true
Should be interesting to see what Gooddell does after meeting with. I could see him getting a 1 or 2 game suspension. Especially with all the trouble the Steelers have been in this off season.
Ben does not come off well when listening to what the D.A said. What a pig he is. That cop/bodyguard that Ben had that led a drunk 20 year old girl down a dark hall into a bathroom for Ben while he stood on guard outside the bathroom is disgusting. He as an off duty cop should have known better. Ben is disgusting. He didn't come across as innocent. They just didn't have enough evidence. How anyone in general can condone his behavior is beyond me.
