Him and Holmes can mix it up and confuse everyone.

Most times you don't get announcements for testing pos or for missing a test until the suspension is announced. We didn't hear about Pace's suspension until this time last year.

The rest of our division is wondering the same thing.

I'm a fan of this trade, even if I am not a fan of Santonio Holmes the person. Bringing this guy in just gave headaches to every DC we face this year. You can bet they are all hoping they face us in the first month of the season.

Mortensen just said the Steelers were contemplating releasing Holmes. Apparently they have been pretty fed up with him for awhile.

    Still like the deal though.

How can we go wrong? There's a good chance whoever we drafted in the 5th round wouldn't make the team anyway, so to me Holmes is as good a gamble as that. A lot of potential reward for very little risk, nice job by Tannenbaum.

Roethlisberger is not being charged. and the evidence that led the Georgia DA to this decision was that Tannenbaum is the ultimate NFL rapist.

1 yr rental of a pro bowl 26 yr old WR for a 5th rd pick, people were worried about Edward staying leaving or panning out.

now we have two #1 caliber WR's to test drive for a year and make a decision.

worst case scenario one of em is gone.

    ill take that any day.

if anything this is a damn good push for the Lombardi before the lockout goes down.

Now we just need to drop our 1st to someone, get another 2nd and maybe a 4th or 5th right back. Tada!

Can we keep the 1st and get a young and hungry pass rushing DL please.

There is no downside to this trade even with all the baggage.
We are investing nothing in a #1WR that isn't making crazy money has only been in the league 4 years and is playing for a big payday.
How can anyone find fault with this?

So this off-season we get a former NFL MVP, a former pro-bowl cornerback and a former Super Bowl MVP. I love the additions this off-season. This team is definitely built for a SB Title more than ever before. When have we ever had a team this stacked with talent and a great head coach to go with it? I know I may be setting myself for a huge dissapointment this season but my expecations and excitment are through the roof. And we may also be adding Jason Taylor? Props to Tanny.

I can. I'm sick of Jets signing players with stupid names, we need players called things like Fred, Jack, Bob and Harry. They're names you can rely on, not made up fly-by-night ne'er-do-wells like LaDainian, Santonio and Braylon.

    Sort it out Tannenbaum.

Maybe we can have them change their names legally. Ed Tomlinson. Steve Holmes (or better yet John Holmes), Dick Edwards. Sweet.

I'm dying to know what Fireman Ed thinks about this one, he's been pretty anti-Jason Taylor, I'm sure he has words for this as well.

I actually wish Fireman Ed's opinion was never heard about anything.
