Now all of us Jets fans are going to be called homers for using them...everyone will want to be the Jets on Madden.
i was talking to a friend about this the other day. is there anyway that the jets won't be the best overall team in the game? i love it but nobody is gonna wanna play against me online with the jets. or it's gonna be a lot of playing jets vs saints, colts or vikings.

Those all look really good and seemingly accurate, nice job. :up: Tough to dispute any of them. I think Pace should be higher but he probably won't be because his stats aren't too impressive due to the suspension.
no way the ghost is in the 60s he will most likely be 50s or 40s and as much as the jets should be one of the best teams in the game they wont be. i cant be the only one who feels the ppl over at madden always dick the jets over. not only in ratings but in madden challenges. like last years madden only had ONE jets madden challenge and it was the patriots game and instead of playing for us to win we had to have the patriots win. bullshit
i would bet that fans of every team feel they get dicked over by madden... until their team is rated highly.
Only two players they really shit on at the beginning of last year was D'Brickshaw and Greene. When the game shipped Brick was 80 ovr with B Pot, Greene was 82 speed. The final roster update he is an 87 with B pot, Greenes speed is boosted to an 86. They did a good job of updating the Jets throughout the season, and look for them to be overrated in Madden 11 because people are quickly hopping on the bandwagon. Donny Moore (the head ratings guy) will actually listen to your feedback on players and will update them accordingly if you have a valid point. He makes himself very accessible.
harris' rating was bullshit when the game shipped he ended up in the high 80's or a 90 but he was way low originally.
I think Brick is actually an 89 with A potential. I think you're right about Greene's speed. I think LT's speed is 88 but I might be confusing the two. Harris and Scott are 90 and 91 respectively (both A potential). NO ONE runs up the middle against the Jets with them and Big Jenks in the middle. You get beat on the outside occasionally, though. That's pretty accurate, I think.
whats funny is that because of ratings i like to put thomas at defensive end opposite ellis and start ghost at OLB he has decent speed in the game so he is actually better at containing the outside run than thomas is most of the time. it's totally unrealistic but when playing online i do what i need to do.
The thing is, Gholston is actually pretty good at OLB as long as you are controlling him. Kind of makes you wonder what would happen if you put Leonhard's heart and brain in Gholston's body...
I use the Jets pretty much exclusively when I play madden. Once in a great while I use another team. It's going to piss me off to see all the queers that always take the best team playing w/the Jets. I love the fact that the Jets will be nasty, but it's not all good.
