i personally would hate it for him to play for the jets because he has badmouthed the very people who visit this site everyday. Who is he to judge us or our way of chanting for the jets. He mite want to play for the jets but something tells me he would still hate playing for us if we did give him the opportunity. The jets far exceeded eveyones expectations last year they are looking for the final 4 pieces to put them over the hump (they also need playoff sanchez and who knows if they will get it). Too much hate on BT. As I and others have stated before - he's not a STELLAR player...however he is a STABLE player. Having BT, JT, CP available keeps fresh legs. I am not blind and I can see BT's lack of effective pass blocking but he was solid for the run. I am not counting on Gladys living up to his potential this season. And we can still draft another OLB pass rusher.

i dont see why we have to get taylor, im sure he has some gas left in him to be an effective pass rusher, but i feel like with rex being a defensive master mind he can mold a drafted pass rusher and we can have a younger, quicker, and more long term player.
we can have the young molded player IN ADDITION TO someone who has proved they can do it in the nfl. it doesnt have to be one or the other.
