I hope Jason Taylor just retires, seriously, go take a vacation. I can't bare the thought of him as a Jet. I just can't. This would be horrible. Just horrible.

Fuck Marino. He's the biggest piece of shit walking this fucking planet. If I had the opportunity I'd spit right in his fucking face and kick him in the balls without hesitation. I'm glad he never got his ring and that he has to live with that realization up until he's on his death bed.

Anyways onto Jason Taylor. I'm a gigantic Dooshfins hater and hate every player that has, does, and will play for that team. But if he signs it wouldn't be the worst signing. He could be a great rotational player and would help Rex get even more creative with all of his crazy schemes. I'm not going to go buy his jersey but if he becomes a Jet then I shall root for him the same way I root for every other Jet player.

Bringing him in seems to be more along the lines of publicity than practicality. As was obvious with the Burt and LT signings, Woody needs the press to sell tickets almost as much as the finished product. The plethora of headlines alone makes this a great PR move regardless of the outcome.

I trust the team to judge whether or not Nancy has any gas left in the tank. If he does, good ol' Ed couldn't have put it better:

If the people in this thread got this worked up about real issues then maybe we could help make this world a better place so that people from the future would not feel the need to travel back in time to take our jobs!!!111

Fireman Ed blasts DE Jason Taylor after hearing New York Jets courting Dolphins free agent
    BY Rich Cimini
    DAILY NEWS SPORTS WRITER

    Wednesday, April 7th 2010, 12:06 PM

Antonelli/NewsFireman Ed gets steamed at the thought of Dolphins DE Jason Taylor joining the Jets. Jason Taylor has made no secret of his dislike for Jets fans, insulting them many times over his long career with the Dolphins. The most famous Jets fan of them all - Fireman Ed - offered this reaction when informed that Taylor is meeting Wednesday with team officials to discuss a contract:

"He's such a meathead," Ed Anzalone told the Daily News, sounding a bit like Archie Bunker.

If the Jets sign Taylor - a big if at this point - it could polarize the fan base. Anzalone, for one, believes Taylor is using the Jets as leverage and eventually will sign with the Patriots. But what if Taylor ends up in green?

"It's hilarious," Fireman Ed said. "Let's be real. This guy hates the Jets. He hates Jets fans more than anything. Put it this way: For him to even try to come here, it has to be two things: Nobody is bothering with him or he wants to win a championship. He wants to hop on board."

Anzalone said he was on the receiving end of a profanity-laced tirade by Taylor a few years ago, moments after a Dolphins win at the Meadowlands. Taylor, who has referenced Fireman Ed in some of his Jets-related insults, saw him in the stands and let loose.

"That idiot came running over, looking for me, cursing, saying he wants to kick my (butt)," Anzalone said. "I looked at him and said, 'You see all these kids around here?' He was acting like a lunatic, acting like a (bleep). Just stupid."

Anzalone took offense to one Taylor quote in particular. A year ago, Taylor gave a radio interview in which he said of Jets fans, "Giants fans are a different type of people, just put it that way. There's a little more class on the Giants' side and some Jets fans take the 'cl' out of class."

Last offseason, when the Jets were showing interest in Taylor, he told reporters it would be "very, very, very difficult" to play for the Jets. Now the Dolphins appear to have cooled on wanting him back and - voila - he's in New Jersey, being courted by the Jets.

"Jets fans have enthusiasm," Anzalone said. "We're not the wine-and-cheese, playing-at-one-o'clock fans. That's Giants fans. Jets fans are down and dirty. Let's get it one."

So how would he react if Taylor suits up a Jet?

"I would get a kick out of it," Fireman Ed said. "I don't take these things too seriously. I have more hate for the Giants than I do Jason Taylor. Bottom line: If he performs, the fans will like him."

What if the so-called meathead notches eight or 10 sacks?

"Then he'll be a good meathead."

Just think what the signing of Taylor would do for reversing glabal warming as hell would be freezing over.

Ha, just kidding, but yeah, it was already posted. I don't mind the reposts, it's good for people that don't bother to read 800 pages.

I know Ed he is not a bad guy I have met him a few times, but a nice little known fact and if you ask Ed he will tell you when he got into football who did he root for? The fins. Then his bro brought him to a Jet game and it was over. He can forgive and forget but I can not and will not.
Jason Taylor rot in fing hell there is a special layer in hell for assholes like him. It is a bad move and I will never root for him. To think he may have part in the jets success next year gets me ill. So it is ok for someone to insult the fan base then they bring him here that is like bringing in Brian cox to Buffalo as a player after he flipped them off. through our support we pay their salary and if he dislikes us the fans so much rot in hell I do not want to support you.

Even that doesn't compare to this. Jason Taylor in green and white is just plain fucking sickening to even think about. I will not "cheer" for Jason Taylor. Not as a Dolfag. Not as a Jet. Not as a person. Not now. Not tomorrow. Not ever. Not for any reason. Fuck Jason Taylor.....

I think it's very possible that the Jets sign Taylor, and I would hate it on general principle. He's such a cockmunch.

But if the Jets won a Super Bowl with him platooning with out pass rushers to creat a stifling defense, I don't think anyone would have anything bad to say about it.

Plus - it would piss off Dolphin fans royally.

I like when fireman Ed calls giants fans wine and cheese one o'clock fans.

Giants fans have a couple wine coolers and a zima and think they are all tough when we play them in the pre-season.
