You just don't get it, do you?

Albert HATES playing two-gapping DL, and that's what we need for the 3-4.

    I repeat.

ALBERT HATES PLAYING TWO GAPPING DL.

He wants to be the shooting DT, a.k.a. 3 technique.

On top of that, no sane GM will absorb his idiotic contract.

So +$5million/year to a guy who doesn't even want to play in the defense. Super. Can I front the money for this one?

That's really not much more than we paid Kenyon "yeah, I'm still here" Coleman.

Like I said earlier, if he is willing to learn to play 3-4 DE, he could be a valuable addition to the team.

He doesn't want to. The guy's been crying for months about playing in the 3-4.

Haynesworth to the Jets makes no sense for this team or the player.

If he learns to do that, and learns to like that role, HE IS NOT LEAVING WASHINGTON IN THE FIRST PLACE. Get a grip.

There are no reports indicating that he has a problem playing DE. It is the NT position that he seems to have a problem with.

So unless either of you have evidence to the contrary, you are just making stuff up in yer head.

So like I said, I am not advocating pursuing B.A. Haynesworth, merely drooling over having him and Big Jinx on the same D-Line *drool*. And from all indications, that may be a position he is willing to accept. That is all.

Jets already have a gap shooting DE in Ellis and one shooting DE in 3-4 is one DL too many if you ask me. The task for DE in 3-4 is not much different from those of NT, as their primary job is to get double-teamed and maintain the OLs away from the LBs. Unless Jets are converting to base 4-3, or they are releasing Ellis, Haynesworth is not really fit for the Jets scheme.
