The Pats have stated that they are not interested so that's not it and the Dolphags have told him they won't even think about resigning him until after the draft. He's coming and as much as you guys don't like him he is an instant upgrade at a position we need help at. I can put my personal feelings aside for the guy if it makes the Jets a better football team and at the end of the day that's all that really matters.

I think some people take this stuff way too seriously sometimes.

Don't know if someone posted something similar I don't feel like going through all 25 pages right now. But I DO NOT want Taylor at all because to me, he is to the Jets what Reggie Miller was to the Knicks. I wouldn't take Taylor and Miller in their prime on my teams for the simple fact of the history that is there. I remember a year or 2 ago JT said something like he would rather retire then sign a contract with the Jets and now he's considering us because he old and well past his prime? Fuck this douchebag let him rot somewhere.

The more I think about it, I don't think he'll sign with us. He'd be taking a big ole bite of a nice big shit sandwich by signing with us. After all the insults he's hurled towards the Jets, I don't think he'd do it. I don't care either way as long as he's productive, but I think there's a larger part of me that would be happier if he didn't.

Not when a players insults the fans several and the team several times screw Taylor seriously the gay is little whinney bitch quitter retire go onto the worlds most stupidest people he forced himself out of Miami because he did not go to off season workouts gets traded to the redskins pulls the same trick quits on them to go back to miami fags fuk the quiter this is not the type of character you build a winning team around. talk all you want to about he can get sacks that was 2 yrs ago. If he was so good now as people on here are claiming why is Parcell's who values his front 7 letting him walk for 1.5 million? the last 1/5 of last yr 1.5 sacks he is undersized and worn down draft a blitzer trade for a de I don't care but do not bring that piece of refuse to NY

I'd rather see Gholston start all season.

His agent said that all hes interested in is getting a ring.

The jets are his best chance at that.

I think its VERY likely he joins us. I just hope that if he does, he can be a positive influence on Gholston, and that we fetch decent market value for Thomas (im really hoping a 5th).

Not sure if anyone mentioned this (threads way too long to search), but odds are Adalius Thomas still coming here if we got Taylor ?

People gotta remember Rex doesnt have this long history with Taylor. Hes coming here from Baltimore.

And I cant believe people are bitching about this move. Rex turned our soft pathetic defense into the best in the NFL. This guy proved he knew defense from his time in Baltimore, and proved that he knows defense last year.

I could understand people bitching about things happening on the offensive side of the ball, but you gotta trust Rex when it comes to our defense.

I've never rooted for an injury ...

But if we sign this jackass, I honestly hope he gets hurt in the preseason and never gets in a game.

What's been happening in this offseason is starting to piss me off ... we keep losing good character guys like TJ, Feeley, T-Rich (is he officially retired?) who are team leaders and warriors on the field ... and replacing them with potential clubhouse cancers ... Cromartie, LT and now this jerkoff.

    WTF is going on here??????

I dunno how you can hate Marino. He was a classy guy. Probably the best QB to never get his ring. Marino and Shula those were both stand up guys.

Unlike Brady and Bellichick who both have issues.

I hate Taylor, but love the idea of signing a guy that would throw Miami fans into turmoil.
