And that stance was echoed by a comment earlier today from Taylor's agent, Gary Wichard, to the Miami Herald. Taylor is meeting with team officials today at the Jets' headquarters. There's been heavy speculation that the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year would rather re-sign with the Miami Dolphins. However, the Dolphins would reportedly prefer to wait and see what transpires in the NFL draft before committing to Taylor for another season. Taylor has expressed a dislike for Jets fans in the past. According to the Boston Herald, the New England Patriots aren't a suitor at this point for Taylor.

Maybe Rex and Tanny are using Hard Knocks with the publicity that comes with it as a recruiting angle to get Taylor. That's why he went on Dancing with the Stars, right?
You are confusing self importance for pure and utter hatred I Hate this guy. If I was being slef important I would force my opinion on you but I am not unlike your veiled insult. If a jet player said these things about another teams fans I would not like it and when he got his lumps I would prolly say he deserved. My question is why people hyped up about a brillte 36 yr old linebacker who does one thing ok at ths point in his career. There are other option that are not as disgusting as entertaining this piece of crap. He insults the fans and the team but then it is OK to take the money bite me. I'll put it like this why not take Ray Lewis he is a year younger (for the record if last year you thought signing ray was wrong because of his age then on that basis alone you should be against this). sorry but I'll pass on this quitter piece of human waste
If we had Taylor in the AFC chip game'would things have been different? If we had cromartie & Taylor and our 17-6 lead again, would things be different
"If we had Taylor in the AFC chip game'would things have been different? If we had cromartie & Taylor and our 17-6 lead again, would things be different" Nope because only one would have been playing Taylor would have been sitting since week 12 his production dropped after week 7 he had 10 sacks but I wonder how many did he have in the last half of the season.....1.5 better options including the draft are out there. Did anyone here stop to think if he was so vital why has his own team not offered any contract until after the draft... because there are better, young options available. I would have rather kept Jay then sign Taylor at least Jay plays football with passion I'll live with two missed field goals because without him in the second bengals game we would have never made it that far.
http://totallylookslike.files.wordpress.com/2008/09/jason-taylor.jpg I'd rather have a broomstick out on the Jets field for defense than have Jason Taylor out in a Jets uniform.
As much as I hate Taylor just like pretty much every Jets fan, if he can help our team take us to the next level (Superbowl) I'm all for it. Granted he is old and who knows what he has left in the tank, so I say if we are going to sign him than just make it 1 year. In reality though I don't see how a 35 year old Taylor can really make a huge difference on our team, so I really hope this doesn't happen.
he's just doing this for contract leverage with the pats, or even the fins. no way will he sign here. just like when l.t. visited the vikes, when he really intended to sign with us.
Just in case my meaning isn't clear, his wife smells like Raritan Bay at low tide. She's a stinky whore. Their mutual festering STDs keep them together, literally. Because when they're done screwing their festering open blister sores dry together in their post coital spooning and then they are stuck together like dogs on the lawn. Fuck Jason Taylor, and Fuck the Dolphins, and Fuck Don Shula, and Fuck Parcells too.:finssuck:
Who wants the washed up bald diva anyway. I hadn't seen him do anything good the entire season, it will help us if he resigns with the Dolphins.
Fuk Jason Taylor. I can never respect this guy....but if he gets signed nothing we can do about it. Please stay with your pansy teal and orange team Jason...thank you!
