It's one player for one player. No averaging.
LT doesn't count toward the final 4 rule. We didn't have to have anyone sign anywhere to be able to sign him.

They don't want him either, let the UFL have him.

We shouldn't be worrying about mentoring Gholston after two seasons. His multi-million dollar contract and Rex Ryan's coaching style apparently wasn't enough to motivate this kid.

Moreover, we shouldn't be afraid of drafting his replacement, and that's what I fear signing Taylor represents.

Beyond that, Taylor's just not that good anymore. He had 7 sacks last season, only 1.5 of those after Week 7. This is an indication that he either got lucky or he wore down. At 35 I think it's probably an indication of a little bit of both.

If this is only going to be for a part time gig, I'd rather invest in someone that has a future, not a gutless hack like Taylor.

Rex knows what he's doing. Do you guys want a Super Bowl or not? I can suck up the fact that Jason Taylor going to be on the Jets if it means we can get a Super Bowl

Truthfully, I'm fine with the possibility of this happening from a football standpoint since it will improve the pass rush, but I distrust the guy so much that I haven't ruled out the idea of sabotage.

That said...I'll just leave this here.

alright let's trade for Nmadi Aso, and get Haynesworth. We can handle their contracts.

He will be a rotational guy. Whatever I'm over his remarks. We can't sack a QB for our life with 3, or 4 up the front. What we need is to get the QB with 4 guys, and drop back into coverage.

It's your claim. Why don't you dig up the thread where we anointed TJ as Barry Sanders and Feely as Elam. If you can't, snap it shut and move along....
