I want the Jets to sign him just so they can watch him cry when he gets cut on the final cutdown.

i dont understand people wanting adalius thomas over JT. Jt was far more productive last year so he is not washed up. it instantly improves our pass rush. it opens up more possibilities come draft time.

the guy has a skill that our team needs. this is a no brainer if he would sign for the 1.5 mil

even if we sign him....that doesnt mean we wont draft an olb ......it just gives us more leverage.

    he's still 36 years old.....which is ancient for a pass rusher......unless he's drinking Brett Favre's urine.....

I can't believe any of you are for this signing. The fact that we're even considering it is embarrasing.

If he can help us I'm down with the move. McNabb to the Skins from the Eagles and Favre from the Packers to the Vikings. The fan bases get over it pretty quick.

Jason Taylor is washed up. Wouldn't you rather just draft someone with some actual, ya' know, upside?

i cant believe anyone is against this. hes a commodity that we need as a team.

1.) hes not washed up...look at his numbers last year.
2.) how does this stop us from drafting an olb. we still could, and prob will. its just a 1yr stop for JT

I'm always of the mind that whatever makes the Jets better is good for me. I want the best players in place, and whoever is on the team gets my support no matter what.

Except Jason Taylor. I don't give a damn if someone thinks I'm a bitch for it. F**K Gayson Taylor. That asshole has spewed hatred for us and been proud of it. There are a small handful of people who I never want to see with the Jets, and he's one of them.

I'll root for him like I would any player on the Jets if (God forbid) it happens. But I'll be disgusted by it. Pussy ass bitch. Will he weep if beat the Dolphags again?

ARGH! This is a nightmare. He had better be a beast and knock both Brady and Henne into another zip code when we play them.

it's possible to do both. if they sign taylor they have no reason to reach for a pash rusher in the draft which is a huge positive.

McNabb and Favre were never really as classless to opposing fans as JT is/was, were they?

I don't see how he can help us win.. He's a prima donna. I thought we just got rid of that. Not to mention, he's so fucking classless.

I hope we don't sign him.

Getting a pass rush is certainly a top priority.....but the Jets have other avenues available to them. Like the Draft for instance. I'd rather the Jets draft a fresh set of pass rushing legs that Rex can mold into a sack machine.....

Jason Taylor is nearing the end of his career....sure he had 7 sacks last year....but he's a year older...and will certainly come to the locker room with pre-conceived notions about this team. I want somebody to come play for this team that WANTS to be here....not somebody who's trying to avoid retirement or is using us a last resort.

how do you not see that a talented pass rusher would help a team that needs a pass rusher??

we can still get an fresh olb which ryan can mold. who knows....maybe JT rides the bench because the draft pick turns out to be a beast. that still doesnt make this a bad signing. it really frees us up to trade down in the draft for more picks

Throw in that Rex knows what Thomas brings to the table so if Rex passes on him for Taylor that means that he thinks Taylor is better and brings more to the table.

Well, I guess I've got to stop calling him...names now. Bad names. Is this how it feels when your little sister marries a meth head?
