lol at least Brashear never really talked crap about the Rangers. He was just a goon doing his job (which he never did once he came to NY).

If you want to use a hockey analogy, it'd would be like if Sean Avery went to the Devils

I hate JT like everyone else but if we sign him and he gets 10 sacks next year and we win a SB... I'll buy his fucking jersey.

Somewhere in China, an 11 year old girl is printing the name "Taylor" on the back of a cheap green jersey.

i don't think Taylor would be the difference in us winning a super bowl....he's clearly not the player he once was.......Granted, he's better than Cactus and Gladys.....but I think the Cromartie trade was much more vital to our quest for a title.

    plus...he's a fag.

see but larry has dominated the mets in the past

jason taylor has never dominated the jets, in fact the jets have routinley pushed him and his little friends around since he entered the league

You guys act like he's completely washed up. The man had 9 sacks last year on the DOLPHINS.

I don't give a fuck what this guy said in the past. Winning is business, not personal. If he helps the defense even a little bit, I'm on board.

i want him but i dont see him settling for so little on 1 yr deal

although tanny loves to make a splash so hopefully they work something out

i also like this move as it free's up options in the draft for the jets

no doubt cro is far more important and yes jason taylor is a fag. if he signs the jets have freedom to go BPA with every pick in the draft which i think would be huge. it also gives the jets all the power in any trade scenario involving moving down in the draft. if they don't need to target any specific player they can play hardball on any trade they might be involved in.

After all the shit he talked about us I'm surprised he could bring himself to step into the building. Let him go back to the pats if he needs to leave the fins. He's not welcomed by this fan base.

Dolphins pass rusher Jason Taylor, one of the most despised opponents in Jets history, is meeting today with Jets officials to discuss the possibility of playing for them this season.

Taylor, an unrestricted free agent, is due to arrive today for a visit, multiple sources confirmed. His visit will include a helicopter ride to the new Meadowlands Stadium, where he will receive a tour. The Jets are rolling out the red carpet because Rex Ryan desperately wants to improve his pass rush and he has targeted Taylor since Day 1 of free agency.

By rule, the Jets had to wait until they lost a UFA before they could sign one, and that occurred last week when they lost PK Jay Feely to the Cards. The Jets can offer Taylor only what Feely is receiving in first-year compensation, and that is believed to be about $1.25 million.

Taylor, the former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant,is one of the most prolific pass rushers of the decade, but he turns 36 in September. Nevertheless, the Jets want him badly. It's believed they may release or try to trade OLB Bryan Thomas, 31, if they land Taylor.

For years, Taylor has been a marked man in New York because he has repeatedly insulted Jets fans, sometimes questioning their intelligence.

We told you GM Mike Tannenbaum had something up his sleeve this week. This is it.
