After reading a couple different mock drafts and seeing they have us going for a WR in the first round I wanted to see which WR would you like to draft the most. With Braylon a question mark I could see how we could pick up a Demarius Thomas type which has all the physical attributes to be a #1 in the NFL. However if you think about how we were interested in getting Percy Harvin last year and a need for a solid slot WR it could be tough to pass on Golden Tate who in my opinion would be a great slot wr for years to come. I would love to know where you guys are leaning...

I don't want any WR's truthfully next year from what I hear is the year of WR's. I want youth on the Lines especially the DLine, a pass rusher, and then a CB so we can get rid of Drew Coleman.

I really like Andre Roberts from the Citadel in the 2nd round if he's there. He's a guy who I can see going higher than expected in the middle of the 2nd round.

    No WR in the first.

I like Gilyard and Damian Williams later.

Well if we do go for a WR in the first round which is a real possibility then WHO WOULD YOU WANT US TO TAKE....it is assuming that is what we are doing.

First of all, I don't like the idea of going WR in the first.

I'm not a big fan of Arrelious Benn, Brandon LaFell, Demaryius Thomas, or even Dez White... They all have too many question marks around them. Inconsistent hands seems to be a pretty common theme.

I'd take Golden Tate. He seems like a great fit in the slot initially and could probably start.

I like Damian Williams, but I think he's similar to Jerricho Cotchery in some ways.. They're both possession type receivers. We need a speedier guy to compliment Edwards and Cotchery..

But again, I don't like the idea of going with a WR in the first.

I say we would have to draft Tate, he would be a perfect weapon for Sanchez to hit over the middle or to check down to if in trouble..he is a play maker plain and simple..he would be a solid slot WR for years to come.. giving sanchez weapons is a priority for this team like it or not .. the passing game is where we have to improve defense and running is pretty solid..

NO BRAINER DEZ BRYANT! Just can't see anyone keeping him out of the endzone for a full game.

We don't need to draft a #3 reciever with our first round pick. I see that as a complete waste of a pick and will not make our team better. We are a run first team and are fine with the wide recieving core we have now. Im all for using either our 4th or 5th to get a slot guy but that is it.

With our first 2 picks we should go either OLB, DE or CB. I will throw my television out my window if we take a WR with our first pick.

Others have said it. No WR at 29.

If (and only if) we go WR at 29, Thomas is the only one worth taking that high. If Williams is there at 63, I wouldn't hate the pick. He's a Cotchery clone and one hell of a punt returner, but I still think we have bigger needs than WR.

If magically all of those WRs were there for the taking, and I had the power to choose which one was a Jet, Dez Bryant would be the no-brainer.

Go back and look at what Bryant did against good teams, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech. All his production came against lesser competition. Just saying.

I'd rather take Kindle in the 1st, sign Coles as our 3rd receiver, and wait till next year to draft a WR.

If we use a 1st on a receiver I could live with Bryant, but I don't see him falling to #29. After that, I like Thomas and Benn.

None. OL, DL or trade down for a combination of the two in the 2nd.

I can't believe that this is close. Dez Bryant is by far the best WR in the draft. He is better than Crabtree was last year. If he is there at 29, unless Earl Thomas or Dan Williams fall, we should run to the podium. Dez will be a monster in this league. Dez, Braylon, Cotch, Keller, and LT, no one will be able to put 8 in the box again on us.

This is a no brainer. You don't take Tate who will be no better than a #2 in the 1st, Thomas is a raw route runner, who will be good, but is a project, Williams, as was said before, is a cotch clone, Benn is the only one who is in the same neiborhood as Dez. He would probably be a top 15 pick if it wasnt for the inept play of Juice Williams. However, I still like Dez better.

    1. Dez Bryant
    2. Benn
    3. Thomas
    4. Tate
    5. Williams

I especially don't want Dez White. He's old and has been out of the league for nearly 5 years now. No thank you!

I don't particularly want ANY receivers in our spot, but if there's no other value and we can't trade down, I'd sure as hell want Bryant or Thomas before I'd want Golden Tate. I'm not going to bitch if Tate is the pick, but it seems like a reach for a #3.

Ha ha. But if Eric Moulds were there, I'd grab him in a heartbeat.

I totally agree that a WR in that spot would be a mistake. If all of those WRs somehow fall, hopefully we could trade down to stockpile picks and get some more depth on both lines.

But, if I had to pick someone, I'd go with Golden Tate. I think he's exactly what Sanchez needs on 3rd down.
