Fantasy Baseball Keeper League (NEW for 2010)

What is the minimum innings pitched for the stats to count?

 

I don't think there are any. none listed in the league settings anyway.

 

2 years ago our commish had to change that, people were only throwing out 1 or 2 pitchers a week. We had many more scorings categories though.

The scoring cats in this league really have no negative affect, no losses, walks, runs allowed.

I dunno-

 

It's finding a balance between getting high enough of K, W, S to win while keeping ERA and whip low. So if you sit all your pitchers except for your stud your opponet will beat you with higher totals. If you play all your pitchers your era and whip will be higher. Stud closers are definately huge in this format.

I like not having the negative stats per say. It keeps it a little simpler.

 

7 keepers is a lot, can we change that to 3-5?

I suck at managing my lineup- Polanco, 2-4 so far with 6 RBI and a grand-slam.

Konerko riding the bench with a homer also. This shit drives me nutz- lol

 

I think we voted on it, we kept it at 7.

 

I'm trying anything now-

My team sucks, it's the first season and it's already a rebuilding year. lol



Can we trade draft picks in this league?

 

we used to in the off season, I built a good team that way last year. and we voted to keep the keepers at 7 just last year.

 

I wish I had my team last year and could carry over 7 keepers. These scoring categories are really Homer hitter friendly.

1 swing of the bat and you get 3 cats out of 5. I wish SO's, doubles, and triples were in there too.

I'm just complaining early to get it out of the way, this is going to be a long season for me. lol
