These are my choices.....Lets hear some of yours. I didn't mention the top 10 players cause they would probally have been drafted already, since the Jets pick #29. Tyson Alualu ...DT....Univ. of California...This guy is a beast..#1 fave Brandon Graham...DE.....Michigan Terrance Cody...DT...Alabbama Sergio Kindle...DE/OLB...Texas Mike Iupati...OL...Idaho Brandon Spikes...LB...Florida C.J. Spiller RB...Clemson {Will Be Long Gone} Dan LeFevour...QB...Central Mich. Dez Bryant ...WR...Okla. St. Taylor Mays..SS...USC - He also is a player...Can "lay the wood" But out of all these players...Tyson Alualu....is a must have. Adding him to the Jets defense would be incredible !!! This is his highlights link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72KQ_NzX8NU Brian Price.....A real player... Jets need 2 - 3 new guys upfront. Price, Cody, Alaua....SUPERBOWL !!!
Dan Lefevour? Why would we draft a qb that would be an absolute waste of a pick. Spiller is unobtainable. Graham will probably be gone too. Kindle would be nice. Kindle and Alualu would be an insane 2 rounds. However I think the Pats are going to use an early 2nd on Alualu before our pick comes up. Don't want Bryant either. Rather have a slot guy (Roberts, Barnes, Decker) and see how Braylon does this year. If BE doesn't perform next years draft is LOADED at WR so we will definitely be able to find a suitable replacement then.
I'm not too much of "start a thread in the correct forum" nazi but this is best suited for the draft forum............ that being said why is a QB on the list? Most of those guys will be long gone by the time the Jets pick.
Jared Odrick is a much better prospect than Alualu. ...better size, strength, and athleticism. I'd love to see Alualu become a Jet if he's there at the back of the second round, but Odick is the better player.

Kindle - My favorite OLB in the draft. Imagine having Harris, Scott, Pace, and Kindle as our starting LBs for the next few years. Iupati - I'm fine with us using our 1st rounder this year on someone who might not be a starter. Developing an elite OL prospect is key for the future of this team with some of the ages we have there now. Plus, an injury on the OL could decimate our offense without a capable backup. He might even be able to overtake Faneca at the LG position if he falls off anymore this year... at least on 3rd down poassing situations. Sapp - A decent alternative if we can't get Kindle, but I only really like this pick if we trade back and get him in the 2nd. Berry - Unrealistic I know, but a man can dream can't he? I'm not a big fan of the state of our safeties right now. As many of the elite teams go more and more to the passing game, coverage weaknesses in the secondary really hurt a team who likes to blitz and leave man to man coverage. Earl Thomas - A bit more realistic than Berry, but still unlikely IMO. Odrick - DE is an obvious need, and Odrick looks to be a solid prospect. Arrelious Benn - I seem to like this guy more than most. I like the idea of giving Sanchez a big target to hit across the middle and on slants. I also like his potential power run blocking from the slot position. Zoltan? - I think they need to find a better option than Weatherford. A power running / defensive team relies heavily on field position, and while Weatherford wasn't terrible, I think Zoltan would be an upgrade.
Not all of these players in the first round, obviously. Jared Odrick Tyson Alualu Jordan Shipley Demaryius Thomas Golden Tate Kam Chancellor Sergio Render Mike Iupati Taylor Mays
Realistically? - Nate Allen S USF - Eric Norwood OLB South Carolina - Sergio Kindle OLB Texas - Arthur Jones DE Syracuse - Andre Roberts WR Citadel - Emmanuel Sanders WR SMU ... Just to name a few
If I were the Colts, I'd take a serious look at Mays as a linebacker. Taylor Mays is a lot like Thomas Davis.
DE Jared Odrick OLB Brandon Graham FS Earl Thomas WR Dez Bryant DE Jason Pierre-Paul DT Mt. Cody P Zoltan WR Eric Decker
I would love for the Jets to draft Terrence Cody out of Alabama. I can understand the Jets not wanting to use their first round pick on the guy though.
