    No way he comes. But it is kind of crazy that everyone wants to play for the jets. might be because of hard knocks!

    Agreed. There was a time that folks looked at the Jets the way players look at the Knicks now. The usual response would be "probably not". Since Ryan, now everyone wants to be a Jet.. NOT a Giant, but a Jet. That is a quantum leap in perception accomplished in ONE season..

    Yeah next year is a possibility. This year we would have to give up too much to go out for him.

    I'm still stunned he is ONLY 25. His knee will heal up.

    Funny, I don't see Merriman actually say the word 'Jets'. He says 'out there' and qualifies it by saying he's an East Coast guy. Sounds more like geography than him saying he wants to play for the Jets.

    Bringing in Shawne Merriman would be a lot of money wrapped in OLB on players who are either underachieving, over matched, or simply horrible.
