Ah one of the longest sunday days of the year is the wait before Wrestlemania. This years card is stacked. STACKED.
I'm thinking HBK loses and Cena wins. Bret Hart gets screwed again and remains in WWE for awhile because he's broke, until SummerSlam.
Glad I didn't waste my money then. As a huge Orton fan, I didn't really care about WM26 because he was in such a low match. Plus I don't care for anybody in the main 4 matches really and the rivalries are terrible so whatever I guess. Your boy deserved to win MITB but I had a feeling for Swagger. What's the match of the night? Any standouts?
there was a Keyshawn Johnson jersey sighting in between the Cena and HBK match...glad i didnt waste my money thank you streamers
I didn't pay for it either I have an online stream. I'm really surprised Christian or Drew Mcintyre didn't win the money in the bank but Swagger was completly unexpected, kinda like when Sheamus won the WWE title from John Cena. This could be a really good thing if they don't book Jack Swagger to look like a Chump in all his matches like they were doing before Wrestlemania. So far the only match I liked was Punk vs Rey, its just too bad they didn't have more time or it could have been the best match of the show. Edge vs Jericho wasn't as good as I thought it would be and Cena vs Batista sucked. I'm not gonna ruin the result of that one but everyone knew exactly who was gonna win when the match was booked.
agreed but everyone that has ever won the MITB wound up winning the title so this might be there way of breaking that streak
That would be a huge waste if they did something like this. They book Swagger to win money in the bank but not to win a championship? This is finally WWE's chance to have a fresh champion and book him to look strong as opposed to how they booked Sheamus. I just don't think Swagger is ready to be a main eventer. Christian would have been the idle choice for the briefcase after he showed he has what it takes to carry people through matches like he did when he was on ECW.
last years at least in my opinion was better but nothing will ever beat Kurt Angle/HBK WM21 i do miss jim ross though, he would brought alot more excitement to the match
I thought the Wrestlemania was actually very good. The crowd sucked. They had weird reactions alot of the night, but I thought the matches themselves were decent. Cena-Batista sucked but I don't know who expected anything out of that match. But Triple H-Seamus was surprisingly ok, the money in the bank was decent and the main event was fuckin awesome. I agree Christian, I also would've liked to have seen Punk-Ray get more time. Bret-Vince was all it needed to be. As a Bret fan all I needed to see was him kick the shit out of Vince and throw on a sharpshooter. It was weird seeing the Hart family work together since they legitimately don't get along, and it was really funny when as Bret was getting his big camera shot was celebrating, his brother Smith was clearly in his way and Bret yelled "Smith get out!"
I got this off another message board but apparently Christian asked from his release from WWE. http://www.wwe-club.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=115504
I doubt that, he's a huge star, people love him. What is he going to do? Go back to the sinking TNA ship with Hulk?
I really don't know but I was crushed when he didnt win last night. He really is the reason I started watching WWE again. I really hope this is just a rumor but really after Sheamus and Swagger are getting pushes over him you gotta wonder what must be going on in his mind.
Ya, fair point. I don't really understand the Swagger push. From a Santino fued to MITB? Whatttt?? Christian was the odds-on fav to win and was the most deserving there. Who knows what they have planned, they may even have Swagger put the MITB on the line against someone in the future, Swagger sucks and is boring.
If he does leave Vince has no one to blame but himself. Just think of all the possible fueds Christian could have now that hes off ECW. Fueding with CM Punk or Edge could turn out to be really good. I will be really pissed though if he does leave, hes one of the few in the company that is actually interesting and having him finally in the main event would be something fresh and we all know he won't flop as a champion like Sheamus.
