I really cant get enough of these clowns in the draft video. i cant reply to links yet... I wish I could be ask them who the fuck did you want to draft!!!!???? I am almost postive that they will never ever live this down... As for the the question I will boo if we pick any receiver in the first round
i hope we let you down for the next 50 years. Booing a pick is not out of tradition. That's a stupid tradition that would make me embarassed to be a jets fan and would then lobby for the draft to be moved to a different city just to take away the venue for those retards. Luckily, picks have been cheered since 06. Thank you Tanny. And because of the good fortune this past decade has given the jets, people will continue to cheer at the draft for the Jets selections.... get over it. That being said, Taylor Mays and Patrick Robinson.
tim tebow that will elicit the biggest boo of all time from jets fans, like people will actually kill themselves if this happened it would suck, but i actually wouldnt mind this happening just for the epic reactions from the crowd
Joey Spezzo...he played with me in HS...he sucked. Who knows...I was happy when they drafted VG and look how that turned out. Now I just trust Tanny to make the right call.
Remember though that the majority of Jets fans were thrilled that we landed Sanchez, and the cheers far outweighed a few boos. We don't want the two dickheads in the video below. Can we ship them off to Indy in exchange for......? Make me an offer.
I think Tebow would be the only one for me. The hatred for Hughes, Mays,Best and others is way overblown...and is just an attestment of Jet fans being flat out scared of the team taking a chance on any player who's a project or doesn't fit in as an immediate starter in a conventional setting. We've heard it about guys like Harvin, Mcfadden and others over the past few years. I understand we got burnt w/ gholston thus far..but part of building an elite roster that can stay elite over the long haul is having some of these "High ceiling" physical freak types to develop into starters over time..but contribute in specific packages and situations in the mean time. The days of conventional offense and defense in the NFL are over. It's now about depth, special packages and match-ups. Unique physical ability is at a premium....and you have to draft accordingly.
With the 29th pick of the 2010 draft, the New York Jets select....from TCU, Jerry Hughes! *awkward pause*
I would boo Toby Gerhart. He is this years version of Brian Leonard. I can't stand hearing that people are actually interested in this guy. I would boo if we picked him in the first, second, fourth, fith or sixth rounds. I wouldn't mind taking him in the seventh so long as we cut him in training camp.
Way to add to the conversation, troll. There's going to be a crow/humble pie buffet up in this bitch when Jerry Hughes pulls in 20 sacks and five pick sixes his rookie year in our system...
How am I a troll? I really think Gerhart is going to be horrible. Lets not fall in love with the fact that he performed well at the combine. We need to realize that there are some things that will just never work in the NFL-- white runningbacks being one of them. Hughes is the guy I want because he looks faster than his time on the field. as opposed to Gerhart, who looks much slower than his timed speed indicates. I'm sure he studied, and worked his butt off on how to shave every bit off his 40 time, but he is not fast on the field from what I have seen. He plods along, breaking tackles that he will not be able to break at the next level. He will be gang tackled by 5 defenders on every play in the NFL. I will cringe if we draft this guy.
^ I see, he's going to fail because he's white. Way to destroy any credibility you may have ever had by your 5th post. Nah, you remember 2 camera-mugging jackasses shaking their heads at the drafting of Sanchez. I couldn't hear anyone booing. But of course the Vandercunts bought themselves VIP tickets, and positioned themselves in front of the cameras, so that's what people will remember.
Him being white just adds to the fact that I doubt he's going to be good in the NFL. I said the same thing about Luke Staley and Brian Leonard. He plays slow on the field, and I don't think the "Bruising" style is going to work in the NFL. He's going to run the ball high, and get gang tackled and rocked to sleep on every carry. He's not going to be able to make anyone miss. Forget his 40 time of 4.55, he's slow and had no agility. He runs like my d*ck- stiff, high and wide.
Dude, you have 10,868 posts on this board. If each one of them took you an average of 5 minutes to type, that is over 900 hours of your life that you have dedicated to this message board. That's like 6 months at a full time job, only you don't get paid for it. Add in the obscure facts about some potential 6th round backup right guard that you studied and you've really wasted some serious time. I do know about football, but once in a while, I just don't like a player for no other reason than a hunch. Much like you have a hunch that Jerry Hughes (the best 3-4 pass rusher by many TRUE experts) is not a good fit for us.
^ No one takes 5 full minutes to type one post. 1 minute tops if i go back and edit. Way to fail at an easy estimation. that last sentence is complete bullshit.
