I want a heads up from the fans themselves so I can anticipate it this year. You guys let me down last year when you cheered for Sanchez. But that was a good pick and the cheers were definitely warranted. It’s just not draft day without the New Yorkers booing and I feel empty because of how last year went down. Don't worry Green Hurricane - I know your pick is Jerry Hughes. That is unless you change your mind on him before then, again.
No insult intended. I just thought you guys might have some insight to the Giants being that they are in the same town. From what I gather they want McClain or Weatherspoon, or trade down. But who doesn't want to trade down, right?
We don't care about the Giants. Taylor Mays would make smart Jets fans boo. I'd boo a cornerback, quarterback, runningback (barring Washington deal), center, kicker, or punter. It's a wide open draft. We could go a number of directions.
I remember watching Jet fans booing Sanchez, yet in 2008 I remember everyone cheering for Gholston. So I really have no idea
WOW... the hostility is palpable. First WW loses his chance to be the board's nicest poster with the DWare thing, now I'm being openly assaulted in threads. This must be how Mr. E feels all the time.
You can't expect (unnamed TCU Horned Frog Defensive End) to be content with dominating just one message board, the man needs people to spread the word. Thank goodness he's here.
I'd boo Hughes or any player making a transition in what they play because we do NOT need a Ghost v.2 That being said I would LOVE Mays so IDK why people don't want him.
Suh or Berry. Because we traded up and gave up too much to get them. Tim Tebow - if we pick him up I would have to beer bong a shit shake to get the bad taste out of my mouth for drafting him.
If we kept Leon Washington, yes. But if Spiller were there, I'd take him and move Leon, even if it were for a discount.
I wouldn't be keen on trying that if I were you. Last time people booed a Jets draft pick based on pure assumption that we gave up too much to trade up, this happened:
That was to move from #17 to #5 in a weak draft, a difference of 750 points. Our 2nd rounder was 380 points. So, we raped Cleveland by shipping off 3 role players or backups for 370 points of draft position. Suh would mean moving from #29 to #2 in a strong draft. That's a difference of 1960 points. Even if we raped them for TRIPLE those 370 points, we wouldn't have enough arsenal in our draft picks to move up. So, for Suh, the deal of the century would still have to involve future high draft picks. Yeah, I'd boo
