    Shocked about
    Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee
    Jared Odrick, DT, Penn State

I wouldn't think they'd get picked till later in the 1st round.

Well the NFL wants Tebow there, but realizes he likely won't be drafted the first day (first round) so they are considering inviting likely 2nd round guys to the draft on day two.

I think it is completely retarded, but the NFL is doing everything it can to milk the Tebow phenomenon before he steps foot on any NFL field for fear that he can't make it as a QB in the NFL.

But whatever, I don't care as long as the Jets don't draft Tebow, i couldnt care less about him...

I'm shocked on Odrick, but maybe they want him to be there for the huge ovation he'll get when picked at #29 (fingers most definitely crossed).

I think Odrick has the ability to shoot up boards much like Tyson Jackson.

Dan Williams is the best DT behind Suh and McCoy - someone will take him early.

Fellow Penn Stater here. Been in love with Odrick since we started recruiting him. I have been screaming for him to be our DE for litterally 4 years now. I have to admit though, PSU does not have the best rep for pro talent- I'm a little nervous, but I still want the guy bad.

Welcome aboard, Cotch. I know we've had more than our fair share of busts, but I don't see Odrick becoming any less than a solid DE starter in this league for a decade.

Good I would be so pumped if we got Odrick.
I wonder if they sell Odrick PSU jerseys?
I want to cop one if we draft him since one of my buds goes to PSU.

I used to be really high on Odrick but then I downloaded some PSU games to watch him. While he seems great at penetrating and disrupting the backfield, he seems to be very weak when engaged in a block. He isn't very stout at all from what I've seen and gets completely washed on double teams. Just because he has the size of a 3-4 end doesn't mean he is one; I think he is better suited as a 4-3 DT rather than a 3-4 end.

PSU has used him as a 3-4 end on quite a few occations. He does need to bulk up a bit, when you see him he is quite lean for 300 lbs. He will probably end up putting on a good 10-15 lbs. He's not the strongest guy, but he's a baller. He was probably doubled 90% of the time and still excelled. He's got some decent pass rush ability, can knock down balls at the line, and will certainly work his butt off to get better, and accept coaching. He has prototype height, weight, speed for 3-4 end, he has experience there, and he's a good, coachable kid who works hard, and doesn't take plays off. I don't think you can go wrong with him.

Hope he off the board when we pick. We need a more athletic DE with some pass rushing skills. Odrick looks really stiff kinda of like DeVito. We will see on draft day because this draft is deep and some will slide and some will rise.
