Gholston and a 2010 2nd rounder > Gholston and Brooks

Why are you bringing Vernon into this? You are not asking to trade Vern for Brooks...you are asking to trade an extremely valuable 2nd round pick for Brooks.

We gave you reasons you just are either too ignorant to change your awful opinion or are completely illiterate.

The best thing you can say about him is that he "was a projected top 15 pick 3 years ago."

    ...sounds convincing.

you might be right that he would be a good pick at 61 if he was in this draft but thats not the case. nfl players have very short shelf lives and even proven starters don't generate the type of value you are assigning some random JAG from another team that you saw make a few nice plays last year.

look at what we got for kerry fucking rhodes man, he started since day one and even with all the hate he got from us he is still a solid starter in this league. the fact that you think it would be fair value to trade a second for a bench player is absolutely insane.

Why...the fuck....is this retarded shit not in the cesspool?

Look at the players that are traded for 2nds, or even 3rds. They are stars, at least solid starters.

Gholston is irrelevant to your "argument". By your fuck-witted logic, Seattle shou;ld trade the #6 pick for Ahmad Brooks, since he has more sacks than another #6 pick, Gholston.

    BTW, I fully realize you
A)are too unintelligent to accept that you are blatantly and pathetically wrong, or
    B)are a run-of-the-mill troll.

Either way, I just wasted my time.

oh shiiiiiit we should just trade #29 for this guy, i mean its almost unfair we will be getting him for just a second round pick.

    .
My point with Vern was that before he was picked the number #6 pick in the draft was "extreemly valuable" as well....connect the dots buddy. and a #61 is less valuable right? Give me a reason why not and we can have that discussion

So now the #6 pick in the draft isn't valuable anymore because of Gholston? The draft is a risk, but a the upside of a 2nd round pick is a risk worth taking over most players....and especially Ahmad fucking Brooks.

Can you re read your posts or something..maybe then you will realize your pathetic argument.

dipp-shit WHO is a better option for a need, OLB, who is projected at or after #61? Go look at espn.com....nfl.com...or whatever you need to do to figure it out.

your the one who came up with this idea so here is a crazy thought. why don't you convince us as to why this idea does not suck? maybe find some type of precedent for trading a second round pick for a third year role player. how about you don't make another post until you find a trade like the one you are proposing. sound fair?

The fact of the matter is that Brooks hasn't produced enough to warrant a 2nd round pick. Nobody is saying Brooks didn't have a decent year last year, or that he won't continue to get better, but at this point you'd have to be out of your mind to trade a 2nd rounder for him. Especially in such a deep draft.
