I think it's a good move for the Jets. at #29 he is a bit of a reach but we might always trade down and in the top 10 of rd 2 he could be a good pick.
Pouha is only going to be on this team for another couple of years. He'll hit a wall soon, especially after suffering a season ending knee injury at his size a couple of years ago. That one is going to come back to bite him hard. As for need, this is the best draft to go BPA. Whatever position falls to the Jets in the first, provided it's not a TE or a QB, that is who they should take. If he is there at 29, I would be pissed if the Jets didn't take him.
thats why i would take dan williams to groom as a future NT, but do not think cody offers a long term solution. i question his athleticism, durability, and ability to stay in shape.
his man boobs are in a class of their own. i have them going in the early first right after bartolo colons ass.
I'm with you on this. Cody is a one-dimensional player, so he wouldn't be anything more than a rotational nose for at least a season or two on the Jets. Players like Torrell Troup, Linval Joseph, and Cam Thomas have the athleticism that Cody is lacking. All three of these guys are athletic enough to play end and nose in the 3-4. These are the types of players we need to go after.
