Nice job, JL, on both the pictures and the writeup. Thanks. I agree with you about the Row 8 view..I checked out those seats and had no issues with any railing obstructions. Also, I thought it was surprising that you got such good seats with 1984 seniority. Row 10 on the 50 is terrific..I would have thought such a low row in such a prime area would be long gone by the time your number came up. Enjoy.
Nice job with the pictures guys. I have a question for whoever toured the Mezz endzone sections . At what row in the A sections does the overhang cover .
The overhang does not cover Section A. It starts overhanging Section B a few rows back..not sure of the exact row.
Thanks CT. I'm on the end of the row, which borders on the aisle with Section 340. When I looked down and when viewing the photos, I'm probably about on the 40 yard line.
Great job JL Nice photos. There's nothing that I've seen here or from my own tour that tells me it'll be an easy in and out for us in the third tier. In fact, it's down right shocking. Hope I'm wrong, but it does not look good.
At least us UDers are NOT paying a PSL like the NYGs STHers are & they will have the same problems we will have exiting the so called "state" of the art stadium
When I took the tour a few weeks ago, I was able to tour the Jets new locker room, here is pic. It shows the players stalls and the Jets insignia which is on the ceiling. The light is supposed to shine down and the insignia is supposed to show up on the floor. Pretty cool idea in my eyes.
17A - Here is pic 26: I assume you are questioning the narrow wrap around to get to the upper deck seats?
I am in section 319, row 10 and I have seats 10 and 11. I was told that I have aisle seats yet, people here say there is at least 18 seats in each row. Can someone clarify before I call my rep. Thanks
According to this diagram (can't say whether or not it is drawn to scale), Section 319 does appear to be a "thinner" section than most of the Upper Deck sections. So you could well be in a row with 11 seats instead of 18 or so..but certainly you should clarify. http://www.newjetsstadium.com/seating-chart.html
Looks Okay Okay 314, I went back and looked at my original photos, which are pretty large files. Therefore, I could blow them up pretty far before they get distorted. It appears CT is correct, if I'm counting my sections correctly, referencing against the stadium layout chart. It appears Section 319 is the one before section 320, which appears like a true "corner" in the bowl. It is also the first section (counting from the 50 yd line) that does not have that handicap ramp. therefore, there are rows of seats between row 4 and row 8. When I zoomed in, it did look like there were about 11 seats in what appeared to be row 10. It wouldn't hurt to verify, but from here, it looks like CT and your rep are correct.
Thanks guys, I am gonna call to make sure I but I trust you guys more then my rep. I actaully have 6 seats, row 10 & 11, seats 9-11 for both. After 30 years, we are all gonna sit together so that's the best part of the new place along with the aisle seats.
Photo of 319 314, If you PM me you email address, I'll email you the photo I'm talking about and you can judge for yourself.
Eagles with Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban - June 10 My wife and I are grabbing two tickets this morning to the Eagles Concert with Dixie Chicks and Keith urban. Show will be in the "New Meadowlands Stadium." I'm going to try for Uppers near the rail on the visitor's side. Then maybe I can sneak over to my seats and sit in them to check them out. Concert is June 10th and tickets go on sale on Ticketmaster this morning at 10AM. Great way to check out the new stadium and take in some great music! Who knew that you'd see the Eagles play in the stadium before you saw the Jets! heheheheheh. Damn, well somebody had to say it. Maybe you'll take the stairs all the way up and decide you're never coming back. Hope not. Hotel California
OK, remember this one to ask people in about 5 or 10 years. "Who played in Playtex Stadium first, The Jets, The Giants, or The Eagles?
That's pretty funny! A little trivia! Okay, I've got Section 339, Row 14 for $85 each. I'll go to the concert and then try to sneak over to my seats and mark my territory by farting in them before a Giants fan does.
