Hmmm well if he turns out to be anything like Harris I'm sold. Even though I love the prospect of having D-line depth, this team needs a solid pass rusher.

Watch out. If Brandon Graham runs a 4.5 at his personal pro day he probably won't get out of the top 20 picks. We might have to look at other options unless Tanny gets a crush on him and you all know what that means.

I would guess the pick now has to be dline first, OLB second. Best available at either position. They have addressed the corner, with a depth signing needed, safety looks pretty much set, even with Pool's history. So it is DE, NT, or LB.

In this draft, the only positions I would not select in the first round are QB, TE, FB, K, P. If the BPA happens to fall within any other position, he is the guy the Jets should draft, unless they can trade back for a need.

    I know

A mistake by NDMick is like a skinny chick with natural double Ds. They don't come around too often, so when you find one, you'd better take it for a ride.

I'd rather have him go in the Top 20. Otherwise, we're going to see him twice a year for a very long time.

Thomas is the only player worth it, IMO. But only if he falls to, say, 22-27.

I'd cry if the Jets go WR. We have two quality starters, and can pick up a WR to compete for the slot in the later rounds.

Until draft day I'll be beating this dead horse: we should be trading down.

No argument with the bolded part. a third rounder this year is worth a second round pick in just about any other year.

Everyone on this board wants to see the Jets trade down unless someone drops. The question is, who will want to move up to our spot?

Personally, I wouldn't cry if the Jets go WR because of the Braylon situation. I wouldn't be the biggest fan of the move, but I'd certainly understand it.

I think it would be awesome if the Jets moved down a few spots and maybe picked up an extra 3rd or something. I am not really sure of the draft value chart, so I am not exactly sure what the Jets can get for moving back. Of course that value chart is a guide and maybe if the other team is desperate enough Tannenbaum can finagle soemthing.

I am not a fan of WR's in the 1st rd. I say we go DL in the 1st rd and make multiple picks at that position and we still need depth at CB. We are one injury away from Lowery. Whatever Mike does, I figure its a good decision but I hope we trade down and acquire more picks, we need depth. I have no knowledge of any College players.

I wouldn't complain about Tate in the first round, or Dez Bryant if he fell.

I.D.K. for sure, but maybe moving into the 20-25 range to get everson griffen.d.e. u.s.c. now before i get flamed i'm not advocating this just basing it on need vs tanny's habit of moving up to fill a need

Only player we are trading up for is Eric Berry.....This guy will make this one of the most dominant secondaries to step on the field.....However, probabally wont happen

Bucky Brooks has us taking Kyle Wilson @29 which would be great.
"Jets would have taken a CB at 29 before getting AC........" ....more smoke and mirrors from Tanny?

I Disagree to those saying we should still draft a corner. I think we go after a Pass-Rusher or Wide Receiver.

Why? After Revis and AC we start to look thin.
More and more teams are going pass happy and at times last season we got exposed. Drafting a topflight CB would lock down the secondary which frees up Rex and his exotic blitz schemes.
I think it was Cato who said its far easier to list the positions we don't need and for us to take BPA
