Very good pick, especially considering Berry's 40 time which ultimately determines how good a football player is according to Al Davis

    - Hate the Rams pick. Bradford isn't even the best player at his position, Clausen is. Maybe there is some realism that Bradford could go 1st but I don't think the Fred Robbins signing should scare the Rams away from going with Suh.

    - Lions and Bucs picks were great and each team should be delighted to see each guy fall

    - Clausen should be a Skin by the end of the time but I am beginning to be weary about WAS maybe going with Okung at 4...............I can see Shanahan go with Campbell for another year. I still love the pick but as the days move on, I am questioning more and more about Bruce Allen's motives.

    - Okung makes great sense to the Chiefs, if he didn't get picked by them the Hawks would have nabbed him up.

    - Dez Bryant is a bit of an iffy move but I can see Carroll being so cocky on offense that he could shoot for that. I would still go with Eric Barry there but I don't have many faults for Bryant. Barry would be hard to pass up if available no doubt.

    - Haden and the Browns seem like a good lock if all goes well. I do value Barry over Haden though so if by going on a BPA, Its Eric.

    - Barry to the Raiders is a steal. Almost too good to be true for Raiders fans.....

So far I have liked all the picks but the Rams one. I don't hate Bradford but he isn't better than Clausen nor should he go 1st overall. Health concerns and he I think would be a bad fit with the Rams. STL is still producing their O-Line and he would be really hurt on there. They don't have much play makers receiving wise either.

I like the Bryant pick a lot. They're pretty weak at WR - Housh and Branch are old - and Whitehurst has a big arm and could use a down-the-field threat.

    Fellas,

I'll be on the road for about four hours tomorrow. I'm not leaving until around 11AM, so hopefully the Niners are on the clock by then. If not, I have my draft board put together and I'll send it out to a few of you.

When I'm back, I'll let everyone know because I'll be around to make picks for the rest of the week.

Just do me a favor E and DO NOT sent it too me

Not that I wouldn't be glad to help you, its just that my next pick is directly before yours and I might feel bad if I'm taking your first choice, so better I don't see your list at all.

    Thanks

    Thanks Jabba.

I was having second thoughts not selecting Berry.

    But, I'm over it!!

The reason I passed on Berry.....I wanted that elite CB, and I figured I could get a very good safety later on at a better value than an adequate CB in rd 2.

    If this makes sense:)!

I cannot see Bryant going to the Seahawks, it doesnt make sense from a need stand point, they need three of the most important things in football, a QB, someone to protect the QB, and someone to get to the other QB. Sure they could use help at receiver but not when you have the best tackle and DE prospects on the board. Also having Dez Bryant show up to a Pac Man jones work out is a little frightening, even if it wasnt someone who had the off field history of Dez Bryant, it would still be a red flag

Damn you, the entire time I was like oh we are going to get McClain, thinking the Jaguars go pass rusher and I log on and boom McClain is gone. After that it was either going to be a NT or a rush linebacker, so I just decided on Williams

Sorry..happens to me all the time.

Jags don't have a dire need for a Pass rusher...they signed Aaron Kampman a few weeks ago.

Ah yes I forgot about that, but my logic was the they could have benefited the most from either Dez Bryant or a pass rusher, and since Bryant was off the board I thought it would be a pass rusher

Sorry man. But your comments there make it clear that you really don't understand what the seahawks needs really are as well as the decision between value and need. I'll explain it more later when I can get to a computer but ivjust wanted to give you a chance to reconsider your thoughts.

Is it me, or is this mock moving much slower than last year? I remember this time last year, my pick was up before I even woke up and we were flying through it...

You're right....all it takes is a couple of GMs to slow it down.

I give everyone plenty of notice and reminders. I even plead for GMs to PM their Boards.

    Dharris52...missed his pick....3 hours wasted..with GMs waiting.
