half empty if the weather is good. If it happens to be a cold, windy, rainy November night its gonna be even worse.
I don't see why people can't just organise their family holidays differently if they absolutely must go to the game? Have Thanksgiving dinner the next night, or have it as a lunch on the Thursday? Plenty of options if you are committed to doing both things.
Because we're Americans and Thanksgiving is Thursday. To celebrate kicking your ass---or something like that.
Was Green Bay vs Detroit any better? Or Dallas vs Oakland? At least this year you'll watch the Jets on primetime. It won't kill u if u don't go to 1 game junc. There's plenty of time to sell ur ticket, so you don't have to feel like you're being cheated financially. C'mon man, this isn't as big as deal as you're making it out to be.
The det and dallas games are on during the day, it's very different. I'm not staying up all night to watch some boring game. It's a big deal to me, I have been going to every game for 20 years and I haven't had many meaningful late Nov/dec/Jan big games and I assume this game will be pretty big(we hope) and I'll be missing it.
I can't believe all the complaining about this. It's simple, if you can't work around Thanksgiving dinner then don't go. But at the same time, don't complain about how empty the stadium is. I'm thrilled to have this game and will work out my Thanksgiving plans around the game and will no doubt be in my seats at kickoff. It's not like the game is next weekend and they sprung this last minute, I'd say there's a little time to figure it out, everyone's in freakin panic, geez...
It's the Jets Junc. It's your team. So right off the bat, you're gonna enjoy the game. If it's a blow-out game (which I think is what you mean when you say boring) then u won't have to stay up late to watch the whole thing. If it's close, you'll at least get an entertaining game after a really good meal with the family. It's gonna suck that u may not be able to go, but you're choosing family over a football game, which honestly, isn't the worst thing you could do as a fan. You're making it sound like this no-show will put a stain on your attendance record more than wanting to spend time with your family. Believe me when I say, you'll get over it, and everything will be fine if you miss this 1 game, Junc.
Of course I'm going to watch the Jets, I was talking about last year's matchup for example. i'm not staying up all night to watch a meaningless game. I'll stay up until 3 in the morning if the Jets are playing. I know the world will go on but I'm allowed to vent a little.
Ha! Fair enough. I hope you and ur fam work something out so that you could at least make it there by Kickoff.
Green Bay vs Detriot was prob the best game on Thanksgiving, and it blew. It'd watch any Jets game though vs any team. Jets being blown out, vice versa.
