that's your opinion, junc. The game will still be on the national stage.....whether you or someone else choose to watch it...isn't my concern. But the exposure is there.
I've worked very hard (with and against my family's wishes) to establish Sunday as a holiday when the Jets are home. It's harder when an actual holiday interferes with my estabilshment. Most family guys here who attend the games will most likely agree. For the record, I like the Monday night opener.
That is actually a great point. Will they not allow regular "beer stand" sales but still allow club sales?
wait...wait... For those complaining about this game help me understand something. You mean there is something to do other than football on Thanksgiving? Since when?
How many empty seats do you figure we'll see for this game, regardless of how the team is doing. Is 12,000 too high?
Barring insane beer prices, I'll bitch if that happens. Either way, I'm getting crunked in the parking lot. Plan A has never failed me.
Pretty sure there isn't a rule of Americanism that says you have to be in synagogue all Thanksgiving. That said...hope we get a good crowd out for that one. You never know with those Thanksgiving games.
On Sunday when the Jets are playing, do you get the Jets on CBS or do you get Buffalo or New England? If you get the Jets you are in the area of coverage that should get the game. I know Syracuse got Buffalo games and they would be blacked out.
Seriously considering spending Thanksgiving weekend in NY if the Jets get that Thursday night game. Any STH who don't want to go, there's a chance I'll be interested in buying your tickets.
I got married January 4, 1998. There was a shot that the Jets would have a playoff game that day. I told my then fiancee, "If the Jets are in the playoffs, I won't be there for the wedding." I still hear about it. Sometimes I think she had a voodoo doll and tanked them. Football is that important. Family just needs to understand.
I understand, I have two little kids, it's the main reason I haven't been to a Devil game in over two years. The thing with the NFL is there are only 8 real home games and you get 6 months notice. It's not easy to pull off but it can be done. Just no po-lice, ok?
I'm anxious to see when the at Chicago game is. My boys out there are hooking me up, I just can't have it fall on my daughter's birthday, our Disney trip or Christmas. Looks like Thanksgiving has been cleared.
