Sorry to season tix holders, but I love this. This is respect. We're getting a nationally televised game on a night where everyone is going to be in front of the tv. That's awesome. I figure the Vikes and Phins will be split between the Monday opener and Thanksgiving. I'd prefer the Vikes on Monday and Phins in November.

I have no problem watching this game after dinner. Only problem I have is having to listen to those shitbag commentators on the NFLN.
They always show those games to the local market. People are focusing on the wrong things here. A Thanksgiving game means we get ten days off going into December which is a huge plus, like we had last year. As far as attending the game, you get months of notice and it's a night game, plenty of time to do the family thing all day and gives you an excuse to get out of there if you're going to the game. Even if you're not going it's a deadline for everyone to leave you alone because the Jets are on, like the Christmas night MNF at Miami a few years ago. Who cares if the rest of the nation watches and admires our Jets? I could care less, that's what the playoffs are for.
