The BB part is an insult. He hated being with the Jets. ----------------------------------------------------------- fuck playing the Bills, or the Dolphins. This isn't the SOJ. I'll take the Pats, Vikings, Packers, whoever.
I didn't hear the interview, so I have no idea what else he might have said, and my comments reflected that. If you are seriously claiming that BB doesn't still despise the Jets, and doesn't take every opportunity to let his disdain come out, you're being ridiculous. If you don't see that what some fans say on a message board means nothing compared to what a coach says, you're being beyond ridiculous. No one gives a damn if some Jets fans don't "move on," but the fact that Belichick obviously can't is bizarre.
Having a thread on what BB thinks of the Jets is the equivalent to the ongoing "WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH that fat fuck just said something negative about the Jets" thread . I just file it under the who gives a rats ass tab. I have to admit Jet fans are a curious lot for the most part. Why on earth do we need approval from Boston writers? Belidouche? Mike Francessa? LMAO I mean come on now.
I would never say that he doesn't hate the Jets, he obviously does. I do think that it's better that he doesn't say much about his time there as opposed to saying something bad.
I hope we get the Pats first...we would hand them a sobering defeat that would hopefully help to ruin the next few weeks of their season. :gpc:
so would i. dude, mrs. peel in your avatar is so cool! did you ever watch the episode " the house that jack built"? classic!

When I originally heard that the Jets will have the first MNF game, I originally thought it would be against the Dolphins, Pats, or Vikings. The NFL is making opening weekend more of a spectacle every year (with additional concerts, multiple nation-wide games on ESPN etc.), and do not think that ESPN, which has major pull with the NFL, is not wanting the marque game of the week for the opening weekend. I called up my dad (who I share season tickets with) and he immediately said "it'll be against the Patriots". When I suggested that it may be against the Vikings (Potential for Farve vs. Jets) or Dolphins (Inter-division rival with a national fan base) he immediately shot them down and said "since we've had the tickets (2006) the Jets first home game has always been against the Pats". I was sort of stunned when he told me that, because until then I had never realized that trend despite attending all the games. In 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 our first home game has been against the Pats. Why is that? It is certainly not random, because the odds of that happening are 1 in 4096 (8 home games to the fourth power = 4096). Clearly Pats at Jets is something the NFL wants in September and why is that? Is it because the Jets were widely viewed by the media as struggling in 2006, 2007, 2008 (remember the schedule was released in April WELL before signing Farve), and 2009, and were scheduled to be an early win for the NFL golden boys? Was it because the NFL was throwing a bone to the largest TV market in the U.S. assuming the Jets will struggle the rest of the season and viewership may decline if the game was later in the season? Does that mean that we will not have the Pats first this year since we are more highly regarded this off-season? I am not trying to be a conspiracy theorist about this, but I think everyone can agree the NFL is attempting to produce the most marketable product especially during week one. So I would love to hear others opinions about this, because I think we all can agree that the week one schedule, especially Monday night games is not random.
I think Pats in week 1 is good. Its a good test to see if the Jets are legit or if the roll at the end of the a season was just a hot streak. If they lose, they got plenty of season left to get over it quickly and move forward. If they win, it should be good momentum to get the season going and hopefully pull away with a nice W streak to start the season. It will get the match up out of the way so the team has only one more week to think about them, and hopefully that will be all, as I really hope that fat body and his boy toy QB are packin it up when the playoffs start this time around.
Lets play the Bills so we can win and kick ass. Save the Dolphins for the cold weather and can we finally play the Pats at home in Dec.
I think you are a bit too insecure. I'm rather certain the Jets and Giants management have pretty close business relationships and thus are more interested in seeing one another succeed than not. what reasoning could you possibly be using to deduce the Giants want to see us lose, and preferf it to be against Belichick? just stupid. and a gimme? why not simply go all the way and just prefer the league give us a win without playing anybody.
I think Jets-Bills makes sense. This way ESPN will have gotten the Raiders and Bills out of the way opening week.
