Tapatalk is a sweet forum viewer for Iphone, Android and Nokia which works with vBulletin (Although it will have to wait until the forum is updated to 3.7 or 3.8.) It's free to make the board compatible, and it would be good for the iphone users if it was possible some time in future. http://www.tapatalk.com/
I plan on upgrading to vBulletin 4.0 once the season is over. If they make their software compatible with 4.0, then sure...
Any update on the upgrade? Tapatalk is a pretty nice app IMO...I know upgrading takes time and money, I'm not trying to rush you or anything, just curious if this is still on the TODO list.
Never knew an app like this existed, but I guess that's because I stopped lurking the App Store months ago Checking it out now
Just downloaded this app on my phone, it's awesome for viewing the site. So much easier (and faster) than trying to navigate the actual site
Yeah, I do about 80% of my posting on Tapatalk now. Of course, the lack of ease when trying to use my iPhone before kept me untethered. Now, I'm attached to the board wherever I go. Perhaps not a great thing
Can you type in landscape? Also, in Safari, when you quote someone and type in landscape you can only scroll down so far, so if the quote is long you have to post your response before the quoted stuff because you can't get to the bottom...does Tapatalk fix this? I'm using the free version now so I can only view forums.
Yes, you can type in landscape, you just can't view the forums in landscape. When you go to reply, you can rotate the screen to type in landscape. And yes, the problem with scrolling in a response is done. It's still possible in Safari to scroll below a quote, but it's a pain in the ass to do so. Tapa is so much easier.
