Champ is feisty this morning.....i wonder if the nurse slipped a viagara into his oatmeal. but to stay on topic.....LT is an excellent stopgap for this team....Opposing D-coordinators will have fun stopping this guy on the 3rd down checkdowns...coming out of the backfield. I'm still hoping we pick an HB in the middle to late rounds in the draft...to groom under LT/Greene. Perhaps McCluster could be an option?
I wonder if/when they'll have a press conference EDIT: Mon, March 15, 2010 - 10:54am ET Randy Lange Said: "the Jets' media relations department is setting up news conferences, conference calls, etc. We'll let you know when we know."
Yeagh, I'm starting to run out of ideas regarding the running back rotation. Regardless of whether or not Leon is here or not LT is probably going to take the 3rd down duties early on in the season. If Leon gets back to 100% maybe he'll take back the 3rd down duties and LT can have a larger role on early downs (if he performs well as the 3rd down back). For now we seem to have our bases covered.
Yes I agree he has good hands & should open up things for Dustin, BE & Cotch because he is a threat of coming out of the BF & taking it to the house
Skip seriously doesn't give a fuck. That old dick-head will say anything. "Ok Skip, this morning we want you to go on the air and scream about how you hate women and Jews. It might be an 'unpopular' opinion, but you'll be considered 'controversial'! People will talk about you! It'll make fantastic TV! We'll feature you on promos for the unwatchable abortion that is First Take!" Skip: "Yipppeeee!!"
http://www.newsday.com/sports/footb...ys-talked-about-playing-in-new-york-1.1812187 I find that extremely unlikely, considering he said "I couldn't see myself putting on another uniform, that charger uniform, that 21 with the bolt on the side of my helmet....that's pretty special, and you really can't replace that." before the 2009 season. http://www.nfl.com/videos/san-diego-chargers/09000d5d80f35d28/LT-speaks Not to mention he had a lightning bolt tattooed on his leg when he was drafted.
That's right, I can't imagine he ever wanted to get his ass kicked in the playoffs on any other team.
but the steelers have been around for decades and they only have 6. that's awful. so many years of losing. The Yankees have 26, but over 100+ years they have averaged 75% worth of seasons of failure and worthlessness. why the fuck do sports even exist at all? All people do is lose.
I said "until death us do part" and got my wife's name tattooed on my arm a number of years ago, a house and a shitload of cash later you can imagine my feelings have changed somewhat.
Don't fight the ignorance Mick. When I pointed out to Champ by his rules his life is a failure because he is not the richest most successful person ever, never reaching worldwide #1 in anything, his only response was that I didn't know him. He is completly happy being a negative fuck no matter how silly it all is.
But Oben was there from 2004-2007, when both LT and the Chargers were at the top of their game. I can understand him wanting to play there now. But "always wanting to play there" seems like a major stretch to me.
I hate this move on so many levels, but to summarize, we released a 32 year old veteran extremely likely to decline for a 31 year old veteran already in steep decline. There's no two ways around that. And here I thought the Jets were being smart by letting Jones go in pursuit of a younger, cheaper option. -X-
And I was very happily married, but it didn't stop me wanting to bang the really hot girl at work as well. So when she ditched me, I did.
So then where are our 6 or 5 or 4 or 3 or 2? You just do not get it yet that ALL teams that lose are UNSUCCESSFUL.
