Additional competitions:

-QBs have to detail the female anatomy with as few "cutesy" terms as possible
-Head Coaches participate in eating contest
-Run stopping drill: Osi vs. Pouha
-Hedgecock vs. Woodhead in a "whiteness" contest

so do you think the home opener will be on SNF or MNF in week 1? I'd take a guess and say yes.

I'll add on:

-Cleveland Steamer Contest: Osi vs Edwards (he was a steamy pile while in Cleveland)
-Battle of Wits: O'Hara vs Mangold (That is what I call must-see-TV)
-Twitch Off: Petitgout (Honorary Giant) vs Faneca
-Bong Off: Manningham vs Ellis
-Sliding Contest: Sanchez vs the runs in Kevin Boothe's boxers
-Football-Cluelessness-Off: Sinorice Moss vs Vernon Gholston (loser gets shot at dawn...winner gets shot the morning before)

Accuracy won't help in a deep-ball passing contest unless the arms are nearly evenly matched (they aren't) and you need to squeeze out an extra yard by having a pass go straighter than the other guy's pass.

Eli has a great deep ball. If you watch him as obsessively as I have (and I'll admit I hated his stinking guts for a while) you'll notice his greater weakness is a lack of touch/accuracy on underneath routes.

And c'mon, do you really think referencing one, or even a handfull, or deep passes Sanches has completed secures this argument? If Sanchez couldn't compete a deep out/in he wouldn't be in the league as a starter EVER unless his last name was Pennington (sorry, couldn't resist).

This shouldn't be a contest, it should be the opening ceremony.
Darren Sharper seems to think so.

Peyton has Ty Law, Eli has Sharper. It's a Manning thing.

And hey, as bad as it was (and it's been pretty fucking awful at times) Eli never threw 5.

Oh, and I am considering petitioning Goodell about that Moss Gholston thing. I honestly can't decide which one of them sucks more.

Sanchez throws a great deep ball with accuracy. I don't watch enough Giants to speak to Eli's deep ball but to say Sanchez' deep ball is a knock on him seems silly to me.

Again, never said his arm was weak. He has above-average arm strength. It's silly to call his arm weak, but just as silly to say arm strength is one of the better assets he brings to the field.

The original challenge was a deep pass competition which is different than an arm strength competition. Pennington for example, always threw a fine deep ball but has the most pussy arm in the league.

I worded it poorly, I meant "long-ball" or whatever they call it at the Pro Bowl skills competition.

It's simple lets watch how the Giants players refused to play their last game at Giant's Stadium. Way to disrespect the Giant's Franchise. Let the Jet's open it. Hell It's going to be Jet's Stadium anyway.

A few deep balls, huh?

Manning is one of the most over-rated QBs in the league. I'm not calling him a bad QB, but he's one of the most inconsistent "franchise" QBs I've ever seen play.
