Looks like the "Big Hits" did take a toll after all. Knowing how B.B. is with injury reports, I'm not surprised that he has a lot more wrong with himself than was originally reported.
That being said I think the Jets should trade their first round pick for him.. he could be a lot of use to us being inactive
I don't think he is that good, he like is product of the system. When that other fag Edelman played he did everything Welker did and he was an undrafted rookie playing in his 2nd career game. Having Randy Moss on the other side helps as well. Welker is nothing more then a faster version of Wayne Chrebet with a better QB and better #1 WR then Chrebet ever had.
Brady is going to be getting knocked on his ass a lot more without his precious slot receiver. although that other welker look alike was decent.
Edelman was drafted in the 7th round last year. He wasn't as effective as Welker, but of course he was a rookie. In time, maybe he'd be just as valuable.
Well the Pats shouldn't miss a step since Francessa said when Welker got hurt during the season that Edelman is just as good as Welker. And we all know that Francessa knows EVERYTHING!
Also, as the regular season was winding down, Franceser said that the Patriots are rebuilding. He said they will win at least one more Super Bowl with Brady and Belichick.
The article I read earlier said it is still the knee that will determine his return date and there was no mention of missing the season.
Yeah I don't know where people are getting that he would miss the season with a torn rotator cuff. The rehab time for that is less than the knee injury, and he can start rehabbing it earlier.
Good luck to him with 2 major injuries @ once. One is more than enough but 2? I am sure that will complicate his rehab and keep him out longer.
I would never, have never, and will never wish injury on a player - EVER - no matter how much I can't stand the team or the individual and that's the God's honest. However, much like the Brady injury, I'm not crying me a river on this one, either. It isn't, God forbid, paralytic or life threatening, so I don't feel all that bad for not feeling all that bad for poor Wes Welkah, the sh*t heel Patriots, their faggoty self-entitled fan base, and least of all, that cheating scumb*g despot Belichick. I doubt anyone felt badly for the Jets over our run of injury luck, Pennington being a case in point. S-o-o-o, them's the breaks, NE (heh), just like it is for - GASP! - everyone else.
Meh, this sucks but I was already expecting him to miss until December at the earliest and probably be way off his game regardless until 2011. They have serious holes at wideout and really missed the boat on Boldin when Baltimore got him for basically nothing.
Didn't they miss out because they wanted him for just one year with no contract extension? Seems kinda foolish.
As much as I hate to wish this on a hard working player like Welker.... :breakdance::beer::metal::grin:
Moss is a year older too..... They are probably going to go big after receivers. I'm glad Crabtree was last year because if he had a QB like Brady he'd be phenomenal from day 1.
I don't think he'll be gone the whole season, but regardless no matter how long he's gone for this is fucking amazing(if it's true).
Damn, I just joined and saw this. I think I need to change my name, as I really don't want to be pegged as "that guy" Sonovabitch, effin' figures.
In all seriousness, that sucks for him. Pats have to get some kind of solid vet. Watch they get Josh Reed and he plays lights out for them.
Concerned about Welker? Yes. But fans have to take the bad with the good when it comes to any professional sport. I don't get as upset with some player scenarios as others do because I realize that I cannot do anything about it. I will be at Gillette Stadium and watch the Patriots with or without Welker, Whatever happens, happens.
