Leon is 3 years younger than LT, and he broke a couple of bones in his leg. LT has had chronic turf toe and a serious ligament separation. Those are both much worse than what happened to Leon in terms of affecting his career, even though the compound fracture was a frightening injury at the time. Stop blabbing out of your ass.
the tomlinson possibility reminds me of the curtis martin situation when he came here, without the injuries but with a declining career. look what happened to martin while in n.y..... tomlinson may have enough left to put up similar stats especially considering that even in decline tomlinsons athleticism is greater than martin's or jones's. martin and jones run quite a bit alike....they had no shake-n-bake in them once in n.y., they averaged about the same ypc using the same running style....run two yards, fall forward one and a half. if we do sign tomlinson it wont be the end of the world, but it wont cure our rb needs. we should try to get the best back we can in the draft, hopefully on the first day somehow!
I'm going to walk you through this: The Jets released him so they didn't have they pay the bonus. The Chiefs offered him a two year contract. The Jets were given a chance to match the Chiefs' offer, but they didn't. Thomas Jones signed with the Chiefs. The Jets are a very talented team even without Thomas Jones. The Chiefs suck horribly even with Thomas Jones.
babbling out my ass huh? i guess you are not smart enough to remember what happened to joe theismann with his double compound fracture? mark it down, leon will not be the same. tomlinson with his injuries would be better than leon with his, provided they run behind the same line!
How do we know that Jones is absoluely better than LT, with our offensive line? Either way, Jones is gone. Let's move on.
Dude, that was over 20 fucking years ago - sports medicine isn't even close to as archaic as it used to be. And Theismann's injury was far worse than what happened to Leon. Or are you not smart enough to remember that? And yes, you are blabbing out of your ass. As usual: http://orthopedics.about.com/od/famousinjuries/p/theismann.htm
i guess we will see, provided leon is still on the team!!!!! duh... yea i know it was worse (joe's injury) thats why i put "double compound fracture" numb nuts!! wait and see who's right, then everyone can see that your name matches you posts!
Check my edit, phantasmagorical opposite of extreme intelligence. By the way, they both had double compound fractures.
look, i'm not some kind of doctor (neither are you), but it doesnt take a genius to see that the type of runner he is, and the injury he had, will not put him back at square one. he relies on sharp turns, cuts, hard stops, quick bursts. any time you break a bone it is not the same, i dont care who wraps the cast. wait and see!
Id rather have LT. Lets see What LT can do on a team that lets him run with the ball. Also if we get rid of leon he can catch out of the backfield. And hes got some fuckin sweet dance moves.
