I think it would be more like breaking a yoke by shaking the egg violently.

im glad to see this come about.. he came cheap, frees up the draft for hopefully a solid defensive end with pass rush.. although i woulda loved to see that cat from the rams come over instead..

It's literally a no risk move. He comes at a cheap price for a single year during an uncapped year. If he doesn't work out we cut him without penalty. He has the potential though

We are gonna have to give guys like this a shot, we can't sign FA's. Sucks. We are looking for a diamond in the rough. Take a shot and hope we get lucky. The draft is huge this year

injury-prone football players are like born-again prom dates. They may glisten and sparkle for most of the night but you're probably going to be disappointed in the end.

Happy enough with this signing, its a potential win:win situation, and no real risk for us.

There is most definitely a risk involved if we're planning on him being the starter. We have to rely on him staying healthy in that case.

    agreed.

    I hate this signing...as a backup I love it...but as a starter I absolutely despise it...

Jets need to go safety on day one if possible and move ihedigbo/smith to ST IMO...and bring Smith in as needed depending on situations

Poole has a unique skillset and Rex is gonna do alot with him. He played corner for a season with the browns and hes been effective when hes been on the field.

It's a win if Poole plays well AND stays healthy. If we don't get a legitimate starter we can depend on to along with him its a huge loss. Smith is not the answer back there and neither is Ihedigbo.

to me its putting a Strickland is a much more front line situation and I'm not a fan of this...

As far as concussions go , why are some people more susceptible to them then other people ?

It's a low frequency accident that probably predisposes you to have it recur once it has happened once.

It's possible that there are physiological characteristics that predispose you to have the first one but I don't know what those would be.
