Rhodes on NFLTA I like how Rhodes complained that the Baltimore Raven players we acquired last year just "took over the lockeroom and started doing their own thing" and how Rhodes said he wasn't given a chance from day 1 of last season...... THEN, when asked about his arrival to ARI he says "Adrian Wilson called me up and welcomed me right away in to the fold...he's a class act...i'm just coming in to be versatile, be a leader, and just do my thing". Hey Rhodes.....you're the biggest fucking hypocrite in the NFL.....DID YOU PICK UP THE PHONE AND WELCOME BART SCOTT, J.LEONHARD AND M.DOUGLAS AND WELCOME THEM TO THE FOLD??? go fuck yourself, Rhodes.....i hope you get exposed in that defense in week 1.
Also, Rhodes appeared to be wearing eye makeup on NFLN. Not a Ryan type of player. And definitely not well spoken enough to be Hollywood. I've been praying for a year we could get rid of Rhodes and Jones. Thanks be to God!
There was actually a point about 2 years ago where I believed that Kerry Rhodes could be an Adrian Wilson-type safety for us, and I was real happy with these thoughts as I love the type of player Wilson is. Now I see that the difference between the 2 is that Wilson actually loves the game of football, actually wants to succeed, works his ass off during the offseason, TC, and the regular season, has a good head on his shoulders, and, lastly, doesn't have his head up his ass or habitually suck his own dick.
This is like when you break up with a girl, and then her friend is telling she said you cant get it up, and your broke and have no money.. What a bitch move... Pull up ya britches youngin...
My god can the douchebag Cimini talk out of both sides of his mouth or what? Exhibit A,B,C,D...................... Z The Douchebag Speaks Tackling the Rhodes interview » By Rich Cimini We've probably spent too much time on this already, but ... There are two comments I'd like to make regarding Kerry Rhodes' radio interview yesterday: 1. It was incredibly selfish of him to criticize the coaches for reducing his leadership role and not featuring him in the defense. Understandably, he was hurt by having to yield play-calling duties to fellow safety Jim Leonhard, but look at the facts: The defense finished NO. 1 IN THE LEAGUE. Obviously, the coaches knew what they were doing. If the Jets had finished somewhere in the middle of the pack, then, yes, he'd have every right to be upset. But it's a team game and the Jets had the best defense in the NFL. Case closed. 2. Rhodes was deceived by the Jets, and he has a right to be upset by that. When the season ended, they told him they wanted him back. The day before the trade, GM Mike Tannenbaum told reporters he "expected" Rhodes to be back. Maybe you can attribute part of that to posturing, not wanting to hurt your negotiating leverage. But, if what Rhodes said on the radio is accurate, he was told by Tannenbaum after the trade that the reason for it was because they needed draft picks. What a crock. The Jets traded Rhodes because he fell out of favor with the coaching staff and his production no longer matched his salary. Tannenbaum should've been up-front with Rhodes and told him that. No team trades a starter, still in his prime, for the sole purpose of obtaining draft picks -- unless you're talking about a first-round pick. It's not like the Cards made an offer they couldn't refuse. They got decent value with fourth- and seventh-round choices, but it wasn't a steal. They wanted Rhodes gone so badly that they left themselves with a hole at safety. Don't buy any of that GM-speak about feeling comfortable with Eric Smith and James Ihedigbo. If they're so high on Smith, why did they give him the low tender as an RFA (original draft round, third)? That's all you need to know. Bottom line: Both the team and Rhodes could've done a better job of handling the divorce.
Man I just read this what an arss. For a guy who was in ed reed's position in Rex's defense he did very little. Reed was a play maker in many ways and it was Rex's defense that allowed him to shine. Kerry basically a no show this year. Lets see what he can do in AZ. To think at one point I thought rhodes could be a good player. What a huge let down he turned out to be. I guess he is showing his true colors now that he is gone.
Don't worry we just sign a guy who injury prone to play safety. Let give VG another chance he derseve it and Rhodes doesn't. Rhodes had more tackle in the playoffs then Gholston had all season and damn he a LB.
One thing you never do...is criticize your previous employer. Bad karma. Rhodes is butt hurt. The Sanchez comment made me laugh. Guess he thinks he's better than Sanchez.
