Concourse Wow. Maybe its the angle/lens/distance but gees, these shots do not look wide at all. This was one of the big selling points of the new stadium. I've always disliked how jam packed and "herded" we feel when leaving after the game. I was hoping for something much wider.
The uppers concourse did seem a bit wider but sure not much. Remember, there are less upper deck seats in the new stadium than in the old one. The concourse on the lower level was huge though.
We're expecting some high quality pics.. Don't let us down. Rain doesn't keep us from the games, it shouldn't keep them from giving you the tour.
they gave you one or they brought your own? HIGH QUALITY will be measure from your seat to the field.
Comparison - Canon Camera vs. Camera Phone Some of you wondered about the "zoom" aspect of the 301 Row Picts I posted earlier this week. My wife took those with her Canon Powershot, not zoomed, but I found a couple that I took with my Verizon phone for comparison. Cell phone camera's have more of wide angle lens, so the view from the seat is actually much better than these two. True view probably lies in between these two cameras versions. A lot of it depends on the camera angle. Canon Photo Taken from row 10 Cell Phone images taken from row 8
Thanks for the recon mission. And yeah, as others have said that's the ugliest avatar I've ever seen in my life!!!
How are you all getting tours since you already have seats? I was told I could not get a tour until the open house sometime in the spring.
God, that's so far away. Just got my invoice, $ due 4/15. Years ago it was due in May. Someday it will due the Wed. after the season. No parking on the invoice. Looks like they are getting smart and will wait for us to pay the tickets before zapping us for the parking. $25 per game I hear.
Ok well my tour lasted about 45 minutes and now I'm at 5 year old birthday party. Upper deck is high as expected.I will post my pics tonight. There is 6 exits and the escalators are stacked so there will be walking between levels. And I did not like the open air concourses.they do know this is not Florida. Also there is no legroom.my kneecaps where right on top of the seat in front of me just like the old stadium.
Was in Philadelphia for game 5 of the World Series in 2008 and god almighty whoever designed open concourses would have been bashed in the head with a bag of lead bricks on that day by 40,000 people. It was so windy cold & rainy & miserable I've never seen so many people just wait around in that kind of punishment while they had the rain delays
Just keep calling them.reverse the role.call them as much about your seats as there where about PSL's. Btw I was shown 3 psl seats in section 245a row 3 aisle
