Ditto. I used to buy seasons from a guy and the seats were in 109. I did that for two years. Once I moved upstairs, I never went back down there...
Nice. I'm row 20 in section 333, the corner on that side but in the other end zone, I think. That's not a bad view.
the jets sent me a pdf of the parking lot. i dont know how to post it though. its a picture showing the vip parking and the surrounding routes.but thats about it
Closer to 349. Do you know if the Parking PDF is different than the map shown in the New Stadium Playbook ?? PS: I vote to bring Ari back too.
http://www.newmeadowlandsstadium.com/3_getting_here.php Amazing New Meadowlands stadium opens up on May 7th for a soccer game, less than two months away!!! This site actually has the parking info too.
Still no name? The chick on WDHA today was talking up the U2 concert and kept calling it the "new Giants Stadium", was pissing me off. Then she mentioned it and said she still says "Brendon Byrne Arena" so I let it slide.
I think the working title is "New Meadowlands Stadium" but they haven't found a new naming rights sponsor since some organizations called them nazis and torpedoed the deal with Allianz
Regarding Stadium Name In interviews a while back, both Woody and the Giants owners stated that they expected to go into the 2010 season without a new stadium name and that was fine with them (what else could they say?). I think there are at least two reasons why they can't sell the rights - 1) In this economy, the number of firms that have that kind of money has been greatly reduced. What money they do have, they need for other things. 2) Perception. After what the banks, insurance groups, health firms, etc are going through with image, few want to leave the impression that they have that kind of money to spend on a sports stadium. See Citi Field. Not saying right or wrong, but that feeling is out there.
Interior upper concourse Here's two shots I took within the upper deck interior concourse. Certainly nothing special at all. All the material on the stadium I've read suggests record number of flat screen TV's so I hope some make it up here. With months to go before football, I hope they plan to paint, or do something to dress it up. I was spectacularly unimpressed while on my tour of much of the inside area. Does this seem WIDE to you? This first image was taken on the north side, probably near the 40 yard line - 312? The second one is a store or some other concession being built behind 303 I believe. I inquired and of course my rep knew nothing, but the Stadium Company CSR said it was an area dedicated to or leased to the gate partner, which in this case would be Bud Light. (Thank God. Better than a Verizon store) Not wide at all through this area. Almost looks like the "store" or whatever it is was an afterthought. I hope it's a beer depot or something. Note how much more open the EZ concourse areas are.
luckily the line for the beer stand will be going directly into the flow of traffic to impede it more than the 4 to 2 lane merge they are creating with that little store. i cant imagine that it will remain open like that to rain and snow down on the store and interior of the stadium. also appears with the aluminum framing that it will be sheet rock, lets see how often they have to patch a hole in that one. its almost amazing how retarded everything appears to be.
