I like the Alualu and Coleman picks.

Im not really on the Hardesty bandwagon. When I see him run, he seems very stiff. Theres not a lot of wiggle to him. But its hard to ask for that from a power back. We really did get a steal last year in Greene, who is such a balanced back.

I think that the Jaguars take Bryant in the first, Also I dont see why the steelers would take Iupati over Davis, even if Davis fails as a tackle you could probably move him inside, but Iupati doesnt seem to have much upside as a tackle

Really, I see the Jags drafting Morgan in a heartbeat.

The Steelers need help at both OT & G, Iupati would the best O-lineman on the board.

Looks pretty realistic, though I'm not in favor of us taking a slot WR in round 1. I'd rather take Cody or Williams at that point. WR is too "luxurious" of a pick for us to take one first. I think it can wait until next year if not addressed in a later round this year.

    Very good mock though.

Great mock. I like the Tate pick considering how you have the board falling, but I'd prefer to see the Jets drop out of the 1st before going WR. McCourty would be tempting, even with Cromartie on staff.

Also, love the Hardesty pick.

Well they just payed a lot of money for Kampman, I know they still need help but it seems kind of like investing a lot of money, keep in mind they also have first round money in Derrick Harvey.

Jacksonville signed Aaron Kampman and have a couple former top picks still on the team. I doubt they commit that much money to the DE spot.

On the DE position, I don't think Dunlap goes before Griffen.

Also can't see Dallas going Taylor Mays. He's a flashy pick which I'm sure Jones likes, but they got rid of a similar type player in Roy Williams for a reason.

I like the players you picked for the Jets, just not for the Jets. If we're in that middle of the 2nd round spot I'd rather see Cam Thomas or Eric Norwood.

And go into the season with no depth behind Greene?

I definitely wouldn't call Hardesty "stiff". He's just a strong back that likes to lower his shoulder on people. I've said a couple different guys in this draft are "one-cut" backs, but he's maybe the best example of it. He gets upfield in a hurry, and if he is making moves there's a good chance it's still with his shoulders squared up. What I love about him is that people literally bounce off of him, they just can't get clean shots on him because he's got that compact, powerful frame.

Oh, and he's probably the best receiving back in the draft and hasn't fumbled a single time in college.

A player alot of Jet fans wanted.

Harvey has been a big disappointment.

    Too early to tell.

I don't think Leon will be gone tomorrow,it may take a few weeks, but some team will make him an offer.

Now that I did not know. That changes my opinion on him, based on need for the Jets.

Hardesty definitely protects on to the football, but I don't know if he's a better receiver than Spiller or McCluster.

Cam Thomas would be a great selection, but the Jets have to go after a running back early.

Eric Norwood could fall into the middle of the third round.

Spiller's a pretty damn good receiver, no?

Also, you think Tanny would go Tate over Odrick? Sometimes I wonder (even though it was supposedly mostly Mangini) if he'd get a little gun shy picking another rushing end in the 1st round ala Gholston.

In my opinion, CJ Spiller could eventually become a starting receiver in the NFL.

It really depends on what direction this team wants to go in. I don't think the Jets will go after a receiver early because Braylon Edwards are acquired with two of our 2010 picks. We have to look at it like we already drafted a wideout in 2010 because of the Edwards' deal.

I just saw your edit. Jared Odrick is not a rush end. He's a defensive tackle at Penn State that would be drafted to play 3-4 end. He's be a space eater and a run stopper in our scheme.
