I just realized that another Top 5 possibility would be to trade back.

    that's another good idea.

    Jacksonville just signed Kampman.

Does this make Pierre-Paul look like a possibility now ?

That's the ideal for me, unless Brandon Graham falls to us there.

Then replace one of those two with Dan Williams.

He'll be on the Broncos. Dolphins if he manages to slip.

After the Cromartie and Rhodes trades:

    1. Jared Odrick
At this point I feel like this is our best possible move. He falls quite a bit because Suh and McCoy are in this draft but I believe this kid can be a stud as a do-it-all at 3-4 DE and is also versatile enough to move in as a 4-3 DT when Rex gets crazy. He also has the intangibles the JETS FO values so highly.

    2. Mike Iupati
We'd have to address the LG position next year... might as well do it this time around with a guy who's poised to become a perennial pro bowler. He is a bit raw but he'll have a year to study behind Faneca and eventually Woody if we want to try him out at RT.

    3. Trade back

    4. Brandon Graham
He'd fit very well in what we are trying to build here... If we get Adalius Thomas and keep B. Thomas scratch this selection.

    5 - Devin McCourty
    Remember, Rex LOVES DBs...

Because I feel Pace can be a full time starter and the Thomases can share reps... not that Graham isn't a good pick but in rd 1, unless a pro bowl talent like Iupati is available, I want a guy that can be on the field straight away.

I gotcha, I just think it'd be extremely hard to pass up a player like Brandon Graham at 29. Also, I think Rex would find a way to get him onto the field, esp. if we get Adalius cus he's familiar with RR's defensive system and has been known as a pretty versatile player in the past (played as a backer and on the line in Ryan's defense)

Earl Thomas rite now is my dream he is somewhat within reach but we are gonna have to trade up for him, along with Brandon Graham so here at 29 here is who i expect to be available

    1.Golden Tate WR Notre Dame
    2.Ryan Matthews RB Fresno State
    3.Jahvid Best RB Cal
    4.Arrelius Benn WR Illinois
    5.Damian Williams

Also woudnt be surpised if we still grab a corner if the board fell a sorten way maybe Kyle Wilson or Devin McCourty may still end as jets

Man, its tough to give an answer right now without seeing how the free agency plays out. I think I've changed my mind every day. It does seem we need to place some priority on RB whether Washington is still here or not.

I would love to have McCourty on this team. Someone with his aggression in the secondary would wreck havoc on slot WRs and if the Jets' experiment with Cromartie does not work out then we have someone to step into the #2 CB spot.

With all this safety talk, gotta change my vote to:
    Earl Thomas
    Earl Thomas
    Earl Thomas
    Earl Thomas
    Earl Thomas

I really hope he falls or we trade up on the cheap for him.

Every year I say trade back, and we be awed if we do this year. however, to stay on topic I would love one of the following:

    1: Trent Williams OT Oklahoma
2: Mike Iupati OG Idaho (I would much rather pick up Newhouse in the 4th or 5th, but I won't argue with the analysts)
3: Golden Tate WR ND (sick Slot WR)
4: Jahvid Best RB Cal (if we lose Washington to RFA)
5: Bruce Campbell OT Maryland (kid is just too athletic to not try out as FB/TE, before you laugh how often did we run tackle eligibles last year.)
    6: Terrence Cody
