Another thing you guys are NOT forgetting but that I'd like to point out... actually two. 1. With Revis and Cromartie + Lowery as a nickel we have 3 pretty good starters at CB. 2. The idea is to rotate 3 safeties: Leonhard, E. Smith and the guy we draft. Plus Ihedigbo also is a pretty good blitzing S. Whoever we draft doesn't have to come in and play 100% of the snaps!!!
No one is forgetting that. We've been discussing exactly that since the trade was made. The importance of rotation has been thoroughly emphasized.

Just got back from vaca. What the fuck?! Who replaced Tanny and decided to trade a starting free safety (no matter how much he sucks) for a 4th round pick? Forget that. Why in the hell did we do it now?! We have no one to start at free safety right now and a 4th round pick is no where near compensation for that. bullshit
People need to relax.. Rhodes was the slowest safety in the NFL. His "ball hawking " skills were not there, and do I have to remind people of how he shy's away from hitting people.. Hes a freakin safety people, he can be replaced with someone more physical and smarter. He peaked 3 years ago. Everyone in the Jets front office sees that. Safety's need to be physical and provide over the top coverage.. Something he failed to do
Another thing, apparently the Cardinals didn't want to trade for Rhodes unless they failed to resign Rolle. We should have demanded that they keep Boldin available in the case that they wanted Rhodes. The best thing that could happen now is us ripping off the Browns by trading the Card's 4th and our 1st for the Brown's 1st.
Yea......I wish we could have at least got a 3rd rounder. The Jets lost leverage in this trade......KR's 2 Mill bonus was this coming Friday.....The entire NFL knew the Jets were unhappy with Rhodes. It's great we got something for the asswipe, cause the Jet's had no future long term plans for the Actress Queen.

Tannenbaum is probably going to surprise us with something, but I just feel that it was an unneccesary risk trading Rhodes when we don't have anyone on the roster to replace him. (don't say Eric Smith)
