Atogwe would be great, but I'd be happy with Bell. If the money has to go all to one, shoot for Atogwe and get an RB in the draft.

QUOTE=Enigmah;1629532]I know I'm going to have a bunch of eggs thrown my way for saying this since what I'm about to say is not the most popular move on this board as a good percentage of tgg members expressed their hatred for it in a previous thread, but I would really like for the Jets to bring Joey Porter in here as their next move. It just makes too much sense from a football standpoint. He is exactly the type of player the team needs at this point from the outside linebacker position. I understand he's a former dolphin and it is almost blasphemous to even entertain the thought. But the more I think about it, it just makes too much sense as long as the price is right, AND he is willing to come here which is the huge question.

With Porter in the fold, the Jets would immediately open up so many other possibilities in terms of the draft, trades, etc. I already know most will attack me for it, but from a pure football standpoint, it makes sense.[/QUOTE]

Okay I can actually see him go to a contender, so you might be right about Houston, but I still hope to retain him.

If AT is released he can be signed for cheap. With Murrell gone, all I really want is a rotational player. I do want to draft an OLB in the 2nd.

he got released 30 year old back, hardly has had any carries in his life. Good for Running back Depth, and would prob be able to sign him dirt poor.

827 carries his entire career. hes quick.

Yay! A 30 year old halfback with knee problems! It's not like we just got rid of one of those!

He was cut because he failed his latest physical. His knee is shot.

Trade Kerry Rhodes...errr wait a sec.

Sign or trade for a safety: Bothea, Otogwe, Landry etc.

    Actually...Hear me out..

If Leon moves on and we collect a #2, does Tanny try and put together a package to move up and get Berry? Highly unlikely I know, but a secondary of Revis, Cromartie, and Berry is extremely intriguing.

Thoughts? And, do we have enough?

if we lose leon then we are down to one rb who is at this point injury prone so im pretty sure moving up for a defensive player wouldnt be in the cards.

FA RB can be found, and we could still have a #2 to use on a running back in the draft.
