to cards for this years 4th and next years seventh...

this means atogwe is on the way TRUST ME...

i like this move SO LONG AS we replace him with an upgrade and use that draft pick for other needs

I was hoping for a 3rd but I'll take the 4th. Hopefully we make a play for Atogwe or target Rolle in the 4th.

Not a Myron fan. I'm beginning to like Reshad Jones, though. May be too high for us.

Nothing about that statement is true. Kerry Rhodes sucks. I'm glad he's gone and I'll take the picks.

he was never a pro bowler who was on a team that did not suit his playing style and was unhappy and got benched.

the jets got back his original draft round pick plus a 7th rounder. That's a normal trade in this business.

This wasn't a position where Tanny could rape another team because the Jets were shopping Rhodes.

The Jets will find a replacement. Rhodes was not a dynamic factor in this defense. Somene else can step in at a cheaper price.

I feel the same, 4th and a fucking 7th? The seventh probably won't even make the team.

A late 4th rd pick for a starter? Ouch.

The only thing I like about this is future cap relief. Rhodes is soft and an ass but he's also a pretty talented player and was worth at least a 3rd. I'm not shedding any tears over the deal but this is pretty weak.

I thought the compensation was the worst part of this thread...

Taking Mays would have been worse than not including the 4th.

Not sure how I feel about this yet. Maybe one of the picks is conditional and could be upgraded based on performance? That news doesn't always come out right away.

In the words of a friend of mine, "I'll take it."

Also, time for a new sig.

it has yet to be determined....

i think that unless we bring in atogwe or some upgrade at the position outside of the draft that the trade is silly...

to trade kerry to draft an unproven talent w/ that pick would be stupid..

jets will either get atogwe or sharper...

i really have a feeling atogwe is going to be in green and white

I'm not a fan of this move:we now need a new safety,we're llimited with who we can sign or trade for and we didn't get much in return for a good if underacheiving player.

That's what happens when he kept yapping and disrespected coaches...

    What did you all expect?

For a guy we benched mid-season, and who every fan knows is a useless POS...I'll take it.

I am surprised we didn't do what we did with the Chargers, and make next years pick performance based. I mean at least saying 5+ int = a 5th would have been better than a seventh.

OJ Atogwe is out there. Myron Rolle is in the draft and expected to fall to the 4th.
