Agreed. Unfortunately, Tannenbaum seems happy enough to let our impending FAs play out their existing contracts until the league gets a new CBA.

Next move is to get some back ups for the OL and a pass rusher would be nice too.

But to be honest, we are looking real good for next year already.

    actually I have no clue.

He did start for 4 games before Pace came back, and he plays special teams.

He probably has hit 120 plays by now.

Resign Thomas Jones (where else is he going to sign)
    Sign Adulius Thomas (if released)
    Resign Revis, Mangold, and D-Brick
    NFL Draft
    Sign possible TC fodder.

TJ will find a place on a team that has shit at the RB spot.

    Cleveland, Houston are two places.

AT is just like Bryan Thomas at this point and for more money. There is no point in signing him.

Thank God! Someone else who doesn't want Adalius. We'll address that need in the draft and can rotate in our new young pass rusher.

TJ would be a great fit in Houston.

I know I'm going to have a bunch of eggs thrown my way for saying this since what I'm about to say is not the most popular move on this board as a good percentage of tgg members expressed their hatred for it in a previous thread, but I would really like for the Jets to bring Joey Porter in here as their next move. It just makes too much sense from a football standpoint. He is exactly the type of player the team needs at this point from the outside linebacker position. I understand he's a former dolphin and it is almost blasphemous to even entertain the thought. But the more I think about it, it just makes too much sense as long as the price is right, AND he is willing to come here which is the huge question.

With Porter in the fold, the Jets would immediately open up so many other possibilities in terms of the draft, trades, etc. I already know most will attack me for it, but from a pure football standpoint, it makes sense.

There has been no talk of the Jets being interested in any RB in FA thus far. Either they are prepared to go ahead with with the RBs already on the roster or they are looking at the draft to fill the need.

Personally, I hope it is the latter.
