so its been pretty quiet since the cromartie trade. what do you guys think is brewing in that front office of ours? if anything at all.

what would you guys like to see happen? should we try and make another slash or just hold our cards till the draft?!

i would like to take a look at bringing back jones if the price is right. and even though no on else really feels this was maybe even coles if the price fits and he doesnt mind being the number 3. that way we can draft a HR hitting WR and let him learn.

i cant wait to see in the next few months how close we were to signing someone or how involved we were with things. you know how those stories find a way to eventually come out

IF Something 'big' is going to happen, it will before March 12th which is when Rhodes' roster bonus is due.
Personally I would like to see KR on this team for at least one more season and show what he used to do.

it'll probably involve someone with at least a 95 Madden rating, that much is certain

Yeah, if we are going to make some other kind of a move, it will be before the 12.

I still would enjoy seeing the Jets sign O.J. Atogwe from St. Louis to an Offer sheet, which would allow us to move Rhodes, but other than that, I doubt we see anymore splashy moves.

well, with two good corners, you have to ask what else is needed on D to take full advantage of this.

Jenks will shore up the run game, but Rex LOVES his exotic blitz packages that are predicated on solid DB play in back.

so to take advantage of Antonio Cromartie, look for the jets to get stronger at OLB and FS help so we can get to the QB, otherwise having Crom means little.

I agree with you as well. Get your house in order first ... line up your cards before the draft so that you "know" what you have to deal with.

We need to address DL depth before we worry about OLB/FS.

I don't think we'll do much before the draft. Maybe sign some depth players, but that's it.

Signing a 3rd WR would be big, but I think we'll address that in the draft.

Not too much, Green and Pouha showed a hell of a lot of improvement, and I would actually be fine goig into 2010 with those 3. DEs is what I hope we pick up, one by draft and the other by FA....Thomas???

we need depth. depth is biggest key on OL/DL. I wanted Chester Taylor to fill the RB need so we could focus the few draft picks we have in other spots but with such a deep RB class I think we take a RB for sure in this draft. we also need another quality rotation LB'er

i dont expect any other huge moves by us unless Rhodes is moved before his bonus. thats about it.

kinda pissed Gholston is still around; and ive been one of his apologists based on the theory that Calvin Pace sucked it up for 4 years in ARI before coming here.

THe Jets are letting Green walk. Fortunately, Ropati Pitoitua is still on the roster. There's another Mike DeVito in the making.

Pitoitua is a freaking mountain of a man. If he has DeVito's motor, he'll be a hell of a player in rotation.

At this point, signing our key players to long term deals is paramount in my opinion.

how about sending gholbrick and cromartie to oakland for asomugha.
if they don't want gholbrick then cromartie and rhodes.
